The Pyro and Engineer are more support classes than the spy or sniper can ever be.

I'm not saying they are bad classes, I'm saying they're not support. Hell, the spy is probably the only class IN THE ENTIRE GAME besides the demoman that can't do ANYTHING to help a team mate at all except kill people. No airblast, no sandvitch, no buff banner, no teleporter, ect ect. Sniper has jarate but that's the only support he has, so he doesn't fit either.

That's the most I'm a edgy teen statement I've heard. You maybe didn't notice it but I had 96 score when I crashed during highlander, like 6 score from the medic and around 30 score from you as you were HWG. Alot of those were not kills and alot of times our team was getting asfucked in chokepoints thanks to their hwg/soldier/demoman+medic + engineers point. I killed their engineer+whole buildingnest like 9 times and everytime I did they had no teleporter and you guys pushed forward. And if you're really smart you make your way backwards after all this and kill the engineer/medic/hwg again so the push gets even more momentum.

I think it should be

OFFENSE: Scout, Demoman, Spy
DEFENSE: Engineer, Pyro, HWG
SUPPORT: Medic, Sniper, Soldier

Yes you were helpful by killing people, but if killing people alone counts as support than every class but medic and engineer is apparently support then. Taking down teleporters and sentries is good but that's more like offence than support.

idk why you guys are getting so defensive about this, I'm just arguing that the labels are inaccurate, it's not like I'm saying spies are useless. They perform a valuable service, but they do NOT directly help their team mates like the medic and engineer can.

I think it would make more sense as an "offence" "support" "assassin".

Having a defense group makes no sense because there's only one class in the game that's actually good at defending. Sniper, spy, and scout would in this case be assassin classes.

Well I'd still say engineer is wholly a defense class. I guess it just no longer makes sense to subdivide them into these categories? It's not like people pay much attention to it anyway, right?

Engineer still plays a vital role on offense though. Dustbowl is practically unwinnable for BLU unless you have a teleporter up, on all three stages.

Yeah you had 130-140 something when I crashed and the medic at 100-110, I was having a roll when we were pushing the cart the last two maps, they never checked their base for me so I killed like 15 guys in a row.  

I'm not angry or anything, pardon my use of swearing at times. I get your point though, it could be argued Spy is more offensive than support but I kind of see it like, Hwg/Soldier/Demo are the meat, they push that fucking cart, whilst even though I don't mind a 1v1 against any class I don't want to be in the thick of things because it'd be a waste of the spy as a class, so in that sense it's less offensive and more that I support the general offensive with subterfuge and sabotaging THEIR support. Now there isn't any "Harass" title because else I'd give scout/spy that (perhaps sniper aswell because I hate that class).

Steam is being I'm a edgy teen. It will not update, and I haven't been able to log in for almost a week. I have the mac version by the way. I've read that I need to edit the registry.vdf, but since I can't actually install it, there's no Steam folder in app support.

The message it gives me when it's installing the update is "Steam needs to be online to update. Please confirm your network connection and try again." Apparently it's plaguing most mac users, but wtf?

Delete clientregistry.blob in your steam folder.

Fixed, but I don't know how. It wasn't Clientregistry.blob or registry.vtf. It was fucked up. But Steam, i'm back inside you.

PROTIP: When anything goes wrong, delete clientregistry.blob

I scored six dominations as a Heavy today, each of the dominated being mowed down one after the other. It was just silly.
