Ouch. I've had those maybe three times in my life, and every time was fucking terrible. From all of the research I did I couldn't find any good cures. I bought some medicated discs that cover the sore and are supposed to numb the pain, but they didn't really work.

I'm trying gargling salt water, some other oral stuff to kill bacteria, and mouthwash.

Yeah, I guess I'm pretty lucky. How do you manage? I feel like the only remotely good thing about getting canker sores is that I'm almost certain to lose weight because I avoid moving my mouth as much as possible.

I was eating a hotnspicey from mcdonalds, I took a small bite and swallowed it because I can't chew anything now without loads of pain.
