I would wear the fuck out of a CC shirt, but no, not around. Not because I'm embarrassed, but because I never go outside any more.

Would a compromise be better? Have cash prizes go to 2-3 exceptional pieces and then spend the rest on merch for runners up?

Do we still have access to the clockcrew albums? Idno if anyone would want those as prizes but that'd be an option.

I'm a big fan of getting myself a CC t-shirt and all, but I think having a top 5 system for the prizes motivates people to work harder on their projects and be the best gosh-dang clocks they can be!

i would prefer for the CC to give out a cheap prize, and to go to the most notable clocks.
prizes can be: some t-shirt's, or CC stickers, or stuff with CC's logo on them, or (my favorite) an honorary drawing by zombie lincoln with his signature, and  a dedication saying:
''to (insert clock here)-clock, the greatest animator of clock-day 2013!''

-the drawing can be either something requested by the winner of the clockday, OR, something random made by ZL.

(and this award could be designed, not only by ZL, but also by anyone in the CC who can draw well with the pencil)

so, to repeat myself, the ''drawing'' award should also be done by many other clocks who can draw well with the pencil.
and it will not only be cool, it will be relatively cheap, and we should always keep our treasury money for a rainy day.

tl;tr

give out many cheap awards to almost everyone who is worthy. (clocks, mostly)
and the awards should be hella cheap.
