More than once, people have been surprised at the fact that I was the first one to choose this name. I joined in 2017. It seems a little crazy given all the bizarre names there’s been (JambaClock, SlurpeeClock, ScrewClock, AbsintheClock, TovlisClock) it took 16 years for anyone to choose WaffleClock.

However

I have recently unearthed a forum post from EnglishClock back in 2009 that mentioned a plethora of Clocks, including a WaffleClock.

Now, the post itself is a shitpost (sorta) but it brings up several clocks that actually exist.

It’s more than likely that English just copy pasted the old registry of used names so chances are good that WaffleClock came and went sometime before I even joined


So yeah come up with a new name

I mean, NaziClock was brought up a couple times by me.

There's a WaffleClock on Newgrounds who joined in 2003. He was my best friend in the whole world. We bonded over our mutual love of all things Belgian: fries, Manneken Pis, chronic cretinism.
