I've been a little under the weather, called off work because I have been unable to sleep due with this goddam clogged nose. Got the sick time, may as well use it.
Spent the afternoon making a video, and the entire evening waiting for it to render. An hour left of the upload, and then it has to process... should have just made a cartoon.

I'm doing well enough. not phantomcat-tier buddhaesque contentedness, but above horrific robclockian abject despair since I don't currently have a cold. I'm sitting here thinking I should use my free time to practice drawing again. but nier just came in the mail this afternoon and I think I'm gonna blow it all on that.

I did a little bit of drawing today. Some RobClocks, and digital inking/colouring for this old drawing. Feels good to do, makes me want to get back in the habit.

for my part in the "between the flash" collab that I'm probably never going to finish (sorry, for anybody who has been waiting the last 7 years), I wrote you in as a screeching, tentacled space monster pretty much exactly because of this flexibility

I had to tie some pretty disparate plot strings together, and I think the idea was the tea kettle from the middle part would come out of hyper space with you attached to the hull, and crash into a space station, and planetside we would call Dwarfinator out of retirement for a rescue mission
but, like, funny, y'know. I was watching a lot of Venture Brothers and Harvey Birdman around that time so the script had a lot of write-y jokes about administrative incompetence and awkward conversations

hm this was a good script. very ambitious. very true to life
