I loved it, despite the terrible audio. I thought Kat's character was kinda weird, she doesn't really offer anything to the team at the end other than the connection to Satyr. Maybe should could have had a useful skill or something? idk

yeah, the audio was fucked, but not as bad as Dunkirk. I saw both of them on IMAX and this time around my eardrums didn't hate me

well, to be fair I found it kinda weird how the protagonist would just compromise a crucial world-rescuing mission for a woman he'd just met?Like when Satyr shoots her and he's like "nooo we gotta save her" I just thought...yeah, fuck avoiding the undoing of the world I guess

I guess she did end up being useful at the end when stalling him. But then again, she mentions seeing [herself] jumping off the yacht, so...it was meant to happen all along? I guess the movie makes the argument that all time is non-linear and already defined? I didn't like how they dismissed the free will problem

but I did like it a lot too. i also liked the implication that the protagonist is potentially one of the architects of tenet sometime in the future. which, in a way, kinda solidifies the argument that in the film's universe, time is somehow pre-fixed

just realized i use "i guess" a lot as a linguistic crutch and it sucks

I get that the jacked up audio is on purpose to "mAkE yOu fEeL tHe hOrRoRs oF tHe wAr" but come on. I saw it at the movies back then and it was kinda tortuous

Tenet has that problem too (especially in a specific part of the movie in which there's a lot of noise) but it's less jarring
