Yo, who remembers those Video Game Director's Cut flashes?  I was never a fan, but he was kind of a big deal on Newgrounds, and he apparently just passed away.

Wow, that is kinda crazy. I remember his sprite movies from back in the day. They were pretty great, especially given that it was just before the vast flood of poorly done sprite stuff.

I met Sarez on his forum when I was 13 an thought sprites were cool. Then I realized he was kind of a dick and he banned me

I heard about this the other day, and honestly It's kind of depressing. Despite the fact that i no longer enjoy sprite flashes, nor VGDC itsself; Randy is one of the people who legitimately inspired me to make flash.

Actually yeah I do too.

I know blatant Sprite useage is considered faux pas but, when you're 13 years old you don't really care that much about the deeper knowledge of life most of the time and just want to see your favorite videogamecharacters duke it out.
