Well, here's hoping the new fighting system isn't shit.

The over-the-top blood and gore is what makes MK, right?

Quote from: peyote;1286787no you're wrong but whatever.

as far as DC superheroes go though they are all pretty wack, however batman is probably the best superhero of all time and you can't get any cooler then gotham city's villains.

DC's Vertigo imprint is godlike and has played host to some of the greatest titles ever. probably won't be any vertigo characters in the game though since most of them exist outside of the DC universe.

WRONG again, you should look up Neil Gaiman's Sandman, that was the best character to come out of the DC/Vertigo universe. If he's in the game, that would be my only reason for buying it.

I liked Armageddon's fighting system. :(

Partially, then it's the fatalities, and the huge ammount of  characters each with their own fighting style. (Didn't armageddon have 60? Or was it 50?) combined with the art style and overall style of the game.

Now that I think about it, this game might not turn out so great. :concerned:

sandman isn't a superhero and it is one of the very few vertigo books to take place inside the DC continuity and i'm almost positive the only reason it did is because it was an early title like hellblazer which is one of only 2 currently published vertigo books taking place in the DCverse. all i was basically saying is you're not going to see jesse custer or cassidy or spider jerusalem in the game, which is too bad because compared to superman they kick mad ass.

I Understand Morpheus is not a Superhero, but he still is a DC character and has had his time in the universe (The arkham episode with the ruby?) as well as run ins with people.

And I agree with you, Superman is highly overrated. Like saying black men are better in sports.

It was slow as fuck compared to games like Tekken and Soul Calibur.

Also, they might do what they did with Armageddon and realease it on the Wii after the other two consoles.

Okay, Batman I can see, but Superman? What the fuck. How is everyone else even supposed to fight with him unless they're made of fucking Kryptonite?

Munglai

While overall I rank Marvel above DC, all Batman characters are at least twice as awesome as any Marvel character. Also I just read The Dark Knight Returns and gained a new respect for Superman.

Oh also Lex Luther, the Green Lantern, the Flash and the Green Arrow are awesome. The manned-up Aquaman from Justice League Unlimited was pretty awesome too.

Anyway I predict that I will like this game because I like all fighting games and Batman is great.

No fatalities is kind of gay though, I could see people like the Joker having really great ones and Superman having something really over the top and hilarious.

It would have been kickass if Superman's fatality was a re-enaction of his first appearance on the cover of Action Comics #1:

<Marlin Clock> This thread seems proof positive that divisiveness at any level is usually bad for the Clock Crew.
<PhantomCatClock> are we talking about the same clock crew
