i missed the first airing of it but i caught it online, it was so sad ;________;
the last 2 episodes of the season were amazing.

It was sad, but I mostly found it exciting, for what it could mean for Wilson's character development.

She died of House By Proxy Syndrome.

It seems as if C.T.B.'s (I mean it in the best way  ) death was in some way House's "fault," as in, she wouldn't have been on the bus and gotten kidney damage if not for him.
However, it's partly Wilson's "fault." Wilson's perceived (but not actual) responsibility for House was transfered to CTB because she loves Wilson and loving Wilson means loving House.

It was not: House --> CTB
It was: House --> Wilson --> CTB

For a long time, Wilson has been suffering from a need to have people dependent on him. He unwittingly hampered someone else with his emotional problem. She was injured as a result of House, but only through Wilson.

He's put himself in harm's way many times because of House, but someone else getting hurt is different. Now he is truly motivated to become cured.
House knows this must be done (as demonstrated by the situation with non-cancerous-suing guy).

I totally expected her to die. She had the power to handle House, and that's why she had to be removed from the House Universe.
