While my actual one doesn't arrive, I tried checking out what was wrong with an old one, and this is the deal:

I start it up, the usual grey letters show up, however, at a point, the following shows up:
Intel(R) Boot Agent version 3.0.03
Copyright(C) 1997-2000, Intel Corporation
PXE-E61: Media Test Failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE Rom

A few seconds later, I get the choice of the three Safe Modes, or starting with the last correct configuration, or starting windows normally. If I pick one of the Safe Modes, then it reboots right away, and if I pick any of the others, it reaches the Windows XP screen, and after a while it reboots, making it a loop. (I can also see a bluescreen flicking before it reboots.)
What is this Clock Crew?

I was planning on doing that, but as a last resource. I dunno, is there another way to get it done?

Okay, got rid of the error message, but I still get a reboot and a flick of a bluescreen.

As I said, it flashes on and then off(permanently until next time), and this flashing is too fast for me to be able to read it.

just wait for you new computer. Then when its all set up, attach your old hard drive as a slave then you can get your files and what not.
My guess is there is some messed up windows files or something.
lemayo lol :soups:

Thunderbolt

make a video from the moment with the blue screen with a camera and then watch frame by frame untill you can read it

I've had the other one for a while, and all my files are there, I just wanted to fix the other one for the sake of decent browsing. Can't even access my mail properly in this thing. I guess I'll have to wait until Monday-Wednesday, thanks for the help everyone.

Every guy wants to be his  friend and every girl wants to date him. Understandably Slurpee is not a  very happy person.

Reformatting is pretty much your only option, usually once your computer is looping with blue screens it is pretty much completely fucked.

And googling what the blue screen says usually doesn't yield any more results than "you need to reformat".

alternatively, your hard drive could've failed which would explain the "media check" message at bootup.
