SO YOU SAY YOU HORDE VIDEO GAMES?
 Well... So do we.

The purpose of this thread is to show off what kind of video games grace your collection. These can range to anything from obscure, imports, limited editions, and any and all rare games. 1uping the previous poster is very much encouraged.

SHOW US WHAT YOU GOT.

(I'm aware these pictures didn't come out too great, Listed the games that are blurry. Most of my collection is in boxes and or too much of a hassle to get too so here's some stuff that didn't require me to tear up my entire room.)

First up is a small portion of my Sega shit. A few Saturn games are missing but they're loose copies and obscure as fuck. I have more genesis boxes but didn't feel like digging them out. desperately wanting to get a Dreamcast at some point.
Games:
Saturn: SF Collection, Shining Force III (loose), Galactic Attack, Nights, Tomb Raider
Genesis: Power Rangers, Rocket Knight Adventures, Sonic 3, Sonic 3D Blast, Columns, 6-Pak, Boogerman, NBA Jam, Mortal Kombat II

Playstation consoles. Original boxes. All inserts included. PS2 Slim box is noticeably missing from this picture.

Most of my PS1 Complete games. All inserts are included (except Lunar), jewel cases are in tact with few scratches and cracks. The rest of my PS1 collection consists of loose copies, didn't bother getting em out.
Games: Valkyrie Profile, FF7, 8, 9, Lunar SSSC, Alundra, Chrono Cross, Legend of Dragoon, Parappa the Rapper, CTR, Crash 1, Spyro Year of the Dragon, Tekken 3, Tomb Raider underworld (?), Xenogears, FF Anthology & Chronicles .

Some of my Nintendo stuff. Wanted to put my old fat brick gameboy in there but eh. Lots of boxed GBA games, some NES and SNES loose copies, and of course the consoles. Sonic heroes, Simon's quest and 3 copies of SMB3 thrown in as a joke.
NES: Dr Mario, Simon's quest, Yo Noid
SNES: Secret of Mana, Super Metroid, F-zero, Gradius III.

About half of my PS2 JRPG collection along with my MGS collection, Demon's souls LE, Eternal darkness etc. Killzone thrown in as a joke

I think that's more than enough to get this started. Show us what you got clock crew!

(Now I gotta put all this shit back...)

EDIT: Okay, here you go:

My Atari 2600. Still in near-perfect working condition (Game reset switch is getting a bit iffy). This picture made me realize just how badly i need to dust my shelves.

The NES. Pictured here with 'Total Recall', the only NES game i have the original packaging for. Subsequently- the only NES game i wish i didnt have.

The original Xbox. Or, as i like to call it, my 'Plays Doom 3, Half-Life 2, Wolfenstein AND NOTHING ELSE' machine.

The Gamecube is a severely under-rated system in my opinion.

Special Donkey Kong 64 edition Nintendo 64! Packaged away because I have nowhere's to put it right now.

Someday i will find a replacement power adapter for this SNES, and it will reclaim it's rightful spot as the main console in my household.

Xbox360. There is nothing else to say.

I took this out again so that i could play the GoldenEye remake. It hasn't been touched since.

It's purple.

Moving along; here's alot of my games. I decided not to take pictures of the Colecovision + 7800 games, or the PSP. The latter because i can't remember where i left it and i only have 3 games for it anyway.

Atari 2600 games-
Unpackaged: Defender, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Pac-Man, Asteroids, SwordQuest: Earthworld, Demon Attack, Grand Prix, Ocean City Defender
Packaged: Berzerk, Dark Cavern, Missile Command, Space Invaders, Zaxxon, Street Racer, Combat, Donkey Kong, Kaboom, Pitfall

NES games-
Super Mario Bros + Duct Hunt, Super Mario Bros 2, Super Mario Bros 3, Castlevania, Castlevania II, Castlevania III, Mike Tyson's Punch Out!!, Double Dragon, Ice Hockey, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Wrestlemania, Total Recall (pictured previously)

SNES games-
Donkey Kong Country, Super Castlevania IV, Super Mario All-Stars, Mario Paint, Yoshi's Safari, NHL '95, Lost Vikings 2, Star Fox, Super Mario World, NBA Jam: Tournament Edition, Chuck Rock, The Addams Family, The Jungle Book, Tin Star, Battle Clash, Super R-Type.
Not pictured; Super Street Fighter II, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time. They are not pictured because my brother is a jackass and lost them.

N64 games-
Duke Nukem: Zero Hour, Dr.Mario 64, GoldenEye 007, Perfect Dark, Donkey Kong 64, Castlevania 64

Gamecube games-
Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi's Mansion, The Simpsons Hit & Run, The Legend of Zelda Collection*, Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, Sonic Mega Collection, Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex, Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly

Xbox games-
Doom 3: Limited Collectors Edition, Half-Life 2, Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War, Hitman: Blood Money, Max Payne 2, Metal Gear Solid 2.
Not Pictured; Max Payne. Reasoning same as last time.

Wii games-
Super Mario Galaxy, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Super Paper Mario, Super Smash Bros Brawl, GoldenEye 007, Guitar Hero: World Tour, AC/DC Live Rock Band Track Pack

Xbox 360 games-
Brutal Legend, The Orange Box, Arcade disk**, Prey, FarCry2, Perfect Dark: Zero, Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts, Ghostbusters the video game, Bioshock, HAWX
XBLA games-
Duke Nukem 3D, Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project, Super Meat Boy, Perfect Dark, Jetpac Reloaded, Serious Sam: The First Encounter

Gameboy games-
Kirby's Dream Land, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: Back from the Sewers, Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Blue, Pokemon Red, ECW: Hardcore revolution, Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers.

Now, that's not everything, it's not even alot really, but I have alot of PC games and they are scattered around the house and I have no desire to hunt them all down.

*Zelda 1,2, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, and a Wind Waker demo.
**Boom Boom Rocket, Feeding Frenzy, Luxor 2, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and Uno.

Remind me to post in this thread when I'm at home and I can take pictures of my NES, SNES, Sega Genesis, N64, PS2 and PS3 collection. Then I'll post my PC games, too.

Thunderbolt

Why do you have so many guitar hero controllers?
Are there 3 real guitars in between them?

I might show my GBC, NES and PSP collection if I'm not too lazy.

Lump Clock

Back when I was a teen my step-father punished me by destroying everything I loved. Therefore, My collection is severely dwindled. I wish that I could show you something impressive, but alas I only have an XBox 360 with my personal choice games.

I just came here to let you know how sad I am...

TequilaClock

Well since I got this shelf, I can organize everything I own more easily.

Games, college books, magazines, some miscellanea... but we are here for the games, aight?

I used to own a black Nintendo Gamecube with WaveRace BlueStorm by the way, but it stopped working, and I made some stupid trades I still regret about.

I also look forward to get a Sega Dreamcast some day soon. Who knows when.

Unfortunately, I do not have any rare systems like a SEGA Saturn or a Turbografx-16, but heck if I had any.

Here's my loyal Nintendo 64, still works like a marvel.

Also, yeah I like figures, even though collecting them is a very expensive hobby. (by the way, the Green Knight's case is signed by Tom Fulp and Dan Paladin) I would get more if I had more money.

Anyway.

  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • Mario Kart 64
  • Pilotwings 64
  • Donkey Kong 64
  • Super Mario 64
  • Starfox 64
  • Paper Mario
  • Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
  • The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

  • Tetris
  • The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages
  • Qix
  • Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
  • Donkey Kong
  • Kirby's Dream Land 2
  • Metroid II: Return of Samus
  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Darkwing Duck

I actually used to have more 10 years ago, but some... incident made me lose Donkey Kong Country, The Legend of Zelda Link's Awakening DX, Pokemon Silver, and Super Mario Land 2: The 6 Golden Coins. I guess I could get them back, but they might give me bad memories, I dunno.

My most extensive collection of retail games so far is the DS library, doing dandy, but i think it will be beaten by the GameBoy hoard some day because those cartridges are so cheap.

  • Mario Kart DS [currently lost]
  • Brain Age
  • Sonic Rush [currently lost]
  • The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
  • Trace Memory
  • Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney: Justice For All
  • Metroid Prime: Hunters
  • Starfox Command
  • Chrono Trigger
  • Elite Beat Agents
  • Rhythm Heaven
  • Hotel Dusk Room 215
  • Kirby Super Star Ultra
  • Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney
  • Retro Game Challenge
  • Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure
  • Contact
  • Pokemon Soul Silver
  • Space Invaders Extreme 2

Yeah I got some GBA games too.

  • Drill Dozer
  • Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World
  • Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones
  • Super Mario Advance [this one was actually a gift from GameSlaveClock!]

To stay with current the generation, you bet my Nintendo fan ass I got a Nintendo Wii.

  • Wii Sports
  • Wii Sports Resort
  • Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition
  • Shiren the Wanderer
  • No More Heroes
  • Sin & Punishment: Star Successor

Of course, I have been trying to expand more by playing from my PC. These are the only retail games I got, but if my Steam account counts, I got way, waaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy more.

Ironically, that Logitech controller isn't fully compatible with any of the pictured games.

  • Mirror's Edge
  • BioShock
  • Counter-Strike: Source
  • The Orange Box

Previously I tried to start collecting older PC games too, but they are pretty hard to get working.

  • Quake [interestingly in near-perfect conditions]
  • Star Wars: Dark Forces
  • Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces II

In conclusion: my collection is nothing compared to yours, I guess.

Btw, NintendoClock, I fucking envy your PlayStation, Saturn and Genesis collection.

NintendrCkolc

I'm thinking this probably should be stickied. We have way too many stickies right now and i'm aware of that but some of those can seriously be removed.

Like the 2 different sets of rules or the Biggs and Snapple tear shit up that's basically just wasting space....

DWARFINATORclock

I'll just repost this:

I'm really too lazy to take my 100+ original playstation games out of the box and take a pic. Also dont feel like arranging my ~40 xbox 360 games to make them all fit in the picture with the names clearly visible.
