xbox live hacked

Apparently xbox live was hacked and a bunch of people are getting their accounts drained of microsoft funbux and having their credit cards charged. It apparently only happens if you have an EA account. If you have an EA account you should probably change your passwords, especially if your EA password and Xbox Live password/username are the same.

The wii doesnt save your credit card info, you have to re enter it every time you want to put points on (which is annoying as fuck) so there's no financial reason to hack it.

This just happened to me. My account was hacked and the person bought 4800 points worth of FIFA 12 dlc, a game I don't even have. And for some reason my account has 3 achievements in FIFA 12 and my account will forever be scarred with that bullshit. I'm going to call support in the morning and demand a refund.

The sad thing is I don't think Microsoft is doing shit about it.

I have 80 microsoft points and an empty bank account that I've specifically set up so I can't go overdrawn.
