So i'm getting rather close to level 30 and being as such I'm almost done with the current area i'm in, Diessa Plateau. Had a lot of fun leveling in this area of the game and being as such I randomly decided to take some screenshots of my final romp through the zone. For those of you who have yet to experience the game maybe this'll persuade you to give it a shot.

Diessa Plateau has a rather large lake on the northern part of the zone. It consists of lush vegetation and is rather detailed. Most of the underwater environments in the game are surprisingly detailed and look amazing. I've encountered multiple hidden tunnels leading to newer areas of the map and discovering such things is rather exciting. Really really cool stuff.

Another view of the lake and some waterfalls to boot!

Combat is fast, exciting, and challenging. Combo based as well as a nifty dodge mechanic that you simply have to rely on during more difficult battles.

The game rewards exploration. Being as such I decided to climb atop this statue. Got experience for it too! This is the entrance to a dungeon I finished earlier tonight.

My only real complaint is that you're characters aren't going to look very fancy. I'm level 24-25ish here and as you can see the armor is a little bland. I'm hoping it'll improve as I progress through the game. The weapons all look pretty good though.

There are no traditional "WoW" style quests. Instead everything revolves around in zone events. Once an event starts people flock from all over the map to participate for exp and other in game rewards. Combat quickly becomes hectic as combos are determined off not only your own personal input and skills but the skills of others creating nifty chain attacks.

Another view of the action. An escort mission to an enemy base, Ambushed by a trash mob.

Enemy base entrance.

Portal leading to backdoor of dungeon entrance and a quicker route to the event boss.

An underwater dungeon!! Honestly it was a tad confusing with everybody swimming so closely together. Lots of confusion chat ensued.

Some people got lost early and gave up, I managed to stick with the group though.

Unfortunately I didn't get a picture of the boss. bit too hectic for me to manage. 28 Hours in thus far, hopefully this game continues to suck me in day after day for at least a few months. Very very impressed with everything thus far.
