I've had a mixed past with turn-based and managerial games but I loved this game.

I like to be treated like a challenger not a retard being shown a light show. I've seen a lot of people complaining about it being too hard. But fuck those people.

It's ironic that people say Enemy Unknown is too hard when it's already way easier than the first XCOM

It can be pretty difficult but its really good. I can see why SMT fans are so elitist about it.

I've been thinking of playing that game but the only SMT game I've played is Persona 3. Is the combat as good? Do I need to deal with that boring fucking "social link" shit?

Quote from: polyhedronclockYou're a fucking clock, what else do you have?
To be fair, you don't have anything. Clocks are just machines that tick.

Everything is getting easier. Even the makers of Dark Souls have said that Dark Souls 2 is going to be easier so it's more "accessible".

I think it's because new gamers are spoilt, self-important jerks.

Back in the day if you were bad at a game you knew it was your own fault, manned the fuck up and you would keep trying. Now it's apparently the game's fault for being too hard and gamers will use the fucking internet to let that be known, usually misspelt and in caps lock.

You'd like it. It's dark and depressing and there's no social link shit at all. No jpop shit, just plain old RPG. Kind of like Pokemon in a sense but you are a pokemon and you catch other pokemon to fight a long side you. Also the Pokemon aren't kiddy.

Definitely worth playing

When they said that they meant that the game mechanics will be easier to discern.

Quit pissing on my bonfire jerk

One of the reasons games are easier these days is that game developers don't test their own games any more. Back in the day when there were any teams, game testers were all expert gamers who knew the game mechanics inside and out, because it was the game developers themselves testing it. They couldn't afford to higher mentally challenged people from trailer parks to test their games for them.
