A cool drawing I did

I was working on a comic, and I made the drawing for one of the panels and it came out really cool and I like it.
So critique it and whatnot.

Corrections on face and proportion would be nice.  This drawing and comic are done in a cartoony, stylistic style, but as this is the closest, ironically, I've gotten to realistic anatomy and facial structure, please comment on how I'd make it better.

Wind-up Clock

The ear looks too high, even if the head is tilted downwards.

And the right-hand sleeve seems too thin.

Munglai

The ear is too high and the head is maybe too big, although it's hard to tell what with the perspective and all. The weight of it is really nice though.

Try to execute your lines more precisely, without backing over them and engraving them like that. If that's your style, it's okay I guess, but it just looks kind of rubbishy and unappealing, like the cleanup crew hadn't got to it yet.

Il Duce

I'd go over it again so it looks cleaner, but I really like how dynamic the pose looks.

In the comic I'll be cleaning up the lines.  I was just posting this here to see if there was anything I could fix before spending an hour making the drawing clean.
Also, thanks everyone for the criticism :D  I'll make the ear lower.

That's what I was going for :3
Especially the badass.
Also, here it is half cleaned up.

Munglai

watch out with your cleaning up

smooth is fine but you need to keep some angles and straight lines or it'll just become dull

you've lost the tension in the shoulder and it makes him look less like he's putting weight on his right hand

Ah, thanks for the advice.
Is this any better?

Also I'm sorry it's such a terrible clean-up job, no matter how hard I try I can't seem to get it right today.
At least it'll be shrunk to half its size when it's put in the comic.

He looks a little hunchbacked, try smoothing out the line of the upper arm. At the moment it goes in a bit at the middle and it kind of looks like his arm stops there rather than at the shoulder.

Besides that it looks pretty sharp.

Loki Clock

Look at the disparity between the line between the eyes and the other paired facial features. Also, lower the angle on the left side of the face to match the right side better.

Topcatyo

Finished cleaning up.
I think I fixed the arm and the difference in lines for the eyes.
However, I tried altering the perspective of the face to match the head more, but it looks off, so I kept it the way it is.

Loki Clock

Just notice the horizontal line between the angles of the sides of the face. The line should be at the same angle as the bottom of the nose and the eyebrow line.

Il Duce

Maybe some creases on hands/shirt to add to the tension.

SeedClock

i thought the first picture was nicer because the size of your brush strokes could express the folds and variations in his face better

yeah that's is why I don't like clean art, it always loses the strength of the sketch

I guess finding balance is the tricky part

SnakeClock

Do you use guidelines in your drawings? That shows where the eyes, ears and everything are meant to line up. A lot of artists say to disregard them, but they're important to simulate the natural symmetry of the human body.
