Michael Moore's Next Movie Available For Free

Following his documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 and leading up to the 2004 US Presidential election, Michael Moore embarked on a 42-day tour across 62 cities to encourage the youth vote, because he was sure the next generation wouldn't put up with Bush. He was right, but that didn't help.

Michael Moore ended up producing a film about his adventures, called Slacker Uprising, and he's making it available for free on his website!

The download is going to be available on September 23rd, courtesy of Brave New Films, whose previous movies include Wal-Mart: The High Cost of Low Price.

In the e-mail I got from him (I'm on the Michael Moore mailing list), he said he's doing it primarily because it's the 20th anniversary of his first film release, Roger & Me, and he's distributing the movie free as thanks. Plus, he wants to raise awareness of the next election, even though Bush is out of the running for it.

Incidentally, Cloaked, he was always fat. He's American, after all.

michael moore has been fat and rich for years, so many in fact adobe premiere and affordable distribution quality cameras did not exist!

Free movies are cool but I would rather get to see a good movie for free. I clearly will not be watching this regardless of the price
