So Blizzard has the Starcraft 2 beta opt-in, where you can ask to be in the beta for Starcraft 2 (that sentence was redundant...).
Being the huge Starcraft (and Diablo and just Blizzard in general) fan I am, I jumped on it.  In order to opt in, you have to make a Battle.net account and put in the CD-keys for any Blizzard games you own.  My brother gave away all my Diablo games when I wasn't aware and I've never seen them again, but I still have Starcraft.
I never play Starcraft anymore because the disc is so scratched that installing it and running it doesn't work.  It's an old game, it's understandable, I've had good memories with it.
So, I enter the game's CD key, the Blizzard site accepts the key.  I accept my preferences and do all the beta signing up stuff, then the website offers me a download client for Starcraft.
Yes, the company Blizzard is so awesome they let me download my games I own off their website for free to play again since I already own the game.
This is incredible, awesome, and makes me want to buy some more Blizzard games.

I just thought I'd say this.  I love Blizzard.
Now if I can find some way to find my Diablo CD keys...

I did that with Diablo II. Just type in your game's CD-Key and BAM! Downloadable.

In this day and age I EXPECT gaming companies to do that for me.
