Ya just gotta think on what the content is.  If it's something of your own creation or design, we cool. If it's 4chan memes and a whole bunch of other peoples' jokes, we not so cool.

This is the point, yes it is.

A meme is kind of like an in-joke that everybody gets and without a joke. So you just laugh because you know what it is.

Subsequently; there is nothing that irks me more than hearing unintelligible douchebags reference 4chan memes offline.
Almost as bad is being forced to listen to Fred videos because the fat dumbfuck next to you on the school computers doesn't get that he's not the only person who can hear it and that he's the only person who can derive some amusement from that putrid shit.
