Very cute, if a bit pointless. Seems like a good Ã,£10 gift to someone in the family maybe. Also if it doesn't use ink then what does it use? Does it just burn the paper or something?

It's not really useful, more of a novel way of checking your daily things.
Maybe you could read your favorite webcomic when it comes out and you notice it printing off on your desk, stuff like that.

Edit - Oh and yes, it prints on heat sensitive paper like on a supermarket receipt.

Looks like it would consume receipt paper like a beast, especially if it always prints out the useless face at the bottom of everything.
