so let me ask this: if ribs strives to uphold the spirit of the clockcrew and actively improve the forums, yet his status as a super moderator is causing a clear division within the crew, and generally making the forum less enjoyable for all, why hasn't he volunteered to leave the position to reunify everyone?

About four people on the forums truly hate him, they're just very loud, and they troll as hard as they can and do their best to make everybody miserable. You specifically have autistic levels of  hatred for him because he's disagreed with everything you've ever said and vice versa, and he was chosen to be mod over you. Why didnt you step down when you were universally despised? Why dont you just leave the cc now, it'd make everyone happier. I'm really not sure why you stay here, you hate everybody here and do nothing but try to make the cc a drama filled shithole.

Now one more thing before I never open this terrible thread again

I disagree entirely on the basis that the majority of his bans have been towards members who uphold the true, original, ideal spirit of the clock crew. The only thing he's tried to uphold is his own little circlejerk.

Changed it from hilarious joke terms to a simple "yea" and "nay". I felt that it was more responsible than gassing the thread and demanding that you remake it with "yea" and "nay" (and also a little less dickish).

I don't have the ability to alter the record of who voted on which one so it's easily verified that the poll numbers are accurate. By all means I welcome any admin or coder to verify the numbers.

I don't just do what any individual says to do on a whim. I've been told by people to just permaban the people causing drama, did you know that? Should I have given their position credence as well?

My actions have been bound within a responsible application of the rules. If the rules are wrong, change those. If I am failing to apply them correctly, then remove me from my position or simply don't reelect me.

You see, this is what I mean. You see everything as black and white. You just assume everything you do is perfect because people haven't had the chance to not reelect you yet. You could always take on board criticism instead of being a dick and dismissing it all.

I'm not exactly dictating anything on these boards, with the exception of the one place some discretion is allowed (gassing bad threads) and even then I'm being exceptionally light-handed.

You've been gassing spam threads and you also follow the rules like some sort of jesus law rather than taking things on a case by case basis and using the rules as a sort of guideline rather than a live or die thing.

How about waiting and taking your time and actually come up with a compelling argument before putting this sort of thing up and wasting other people's time?
