You can get pyrokinesis pretty quickly you just gotta get to level 10 I think.

The figs and cards around camp should get you to level ten pretty quickly if you're good at finding them.

Well that's the beauty of digital copies. They don't really have a production cost. They're probably assuming that there'll be so many buys on these sales that it far more than makes up for that kind of sweepstakes.

Considering how many people would love to get EVERY GAME ON STEAM and how much cash a lot of them are willing to gush out for new games, I think they won't mind actually granting it for one person.

Not to mention Valve really knows how to earn a shit load  of money.

Another super easy gift achievement today, just go to the great gift pile page from the store, and do the achievement to join the sale's steam group. I got the game Dungeons of Dredmor for free just for joining that steam group, nice. You can then leave the group afterwards if you wish.
