I...

...I haven't seen any of these movies. Goddamn I have not gotten out to the theater at all this year.

Haha exactly my thought.

Seriously can anyone here recommend any of these movies? They all look really boring and dull to me but I could be wrong.

well my personal favorites

-the descendants: drama/comedy starring george clooney as hawaii landlord whose wife gets into a coma following a boating accident and he has to deal with his two daughters all by himself.
- moneyball: fun movie. brad pitt tries to win the baseball world series with a small budget by employing some guy that made a program that analyzes all statistics. it's based on the real life story as brad pitt's character tries to beat budgets by cracking numbers
-warrior: one of two sons of a former boxer returns home from the war and wants to be trained by him for some big upcoming MMA tournament. pretty good fighting movie with a few original spins
-drive: ryan gosling plays the driver, stunt driver by day, getaway driver for hire by night.
very unique stylish movie
-the artist: special in the sense that it's a homage silent movie to the old days. pretty original and well executed. it's about a famous silent movies actor and an upcoming actress on the brink of the breakthrough of talkies
-midnight in paris: owen wilson is a hollywood writer who wants to create his first novel but is suffering from writer's block. him and his wife move to paris where owen wilson is all in love with the city
-rundskop: youve probably nevver heard of this one because it's belgian, but i saw it in theaters and it's amazing. matthias schoenaerts (lead actor) gained 27kg in muscles in a year to portray a beast of a man in the hormone maffia

[SpongeClock SquarePants]

Wtf they filmed Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close??? Wtf man, that book was the deepest experience i had in like four years why take this away from me godamnnit why.

I love how Cars 2 isn't even on the docket for best animated feature. Pixar must be ashamed of themselves by now. I'm really surprised Tintin isn't on the list, did they not consider it an animated movie?

[TruncheonClock]

Good to see Gary Oldman up there for his role in Tinker Tailor, Hope he wins it.

Artist will win best pic. Also go Rango

Probably because of mo-cap.

W/e I want Rango to win Best Animated Feature I loved that movie. Don't give a shit about anything else.
