Clockface problems

Hey team.

So I'm working on an opening for a movie I've just started (http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/930f643f0b3dcc2487ff90591e955169), and I have this weird twitchy clockface thing going on. Could someone take a look and try to diagnose the problem for me? The FLA is at http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/49bd1771769e2e7617c20ceea8be3a92 (It's a CS5 FLA). I know it has to do with the mask layers, but I've tried and I can't seem to fix it.

If anyone could help me on this, I'd be super grateful.

instead of mask layers I just use different clocks that I drew. maybe that could be something for you until you want to go all stylish on us. I say this because you didnt tween the masking so maybe you dont want to use tweens so then you could just redraw the clock in the shape you want it to be

thats what I do, and I just blink the clock and change symbols when its shut

btw.. when i tried to open this file it said it was cs5.5 and not compatible and then flash crashed i think you broke my computer u owe me $900 k thnx

Well first of I think it looks hilarious so I wouldn't change it.

But I tried downloading your .fla but it says "Unexpected File Format" when I try to open it. Adobe Flash Cs3 Professional.

EDIT: Oh you got Cs5. Well save it as an older .fla version and I'll take a look.

For real, I have cs5 on my desktop but it wouldn't open (wtf is 5.5?)

Regardless... it's probably a memory issue... Flash is the devil.

Oh man. Totally should have thought of that. I'll convert it to an older filetype tomorrow when I'm not so tired. Do most people around here use CS3?
