I'm wondering if anyone knows of some sort of webcam software that would overlay an image on your live webcam feed. By that I mean it would overlay the previous picture you took with your webcam, so it would be easier to animate; to see what has changed since the previous frame. Basically it would be the same effect you get in flash, where you can see the transparent previous and next frames. An "onion skin" feature for webcam if you will.

Here's an online thing that lets you make .gifs, it has an onion skin feature:

Well I guess that's cool, but I wish it were software not a web page so I could use it in places I don't have access to the interwebs.

if you have a mac you could download frame thief for free

if you have PC:
free stop motion software

Yeah thanks for the useless link, anime. When I google it, some random piece of shit programs come up that lack the onion skin thing which I specifically needed. If I wanted to just take picture I could use my webcams own software. I hoped someone would have some actual insight to the subject BUT NOPE OH WELL.

Lol, not unless you want to spend some money. Dragon is the best capture software, stop motion pro is second best. There are ways of obtaining such things.

Oh neat, those are better. thanks mate.
