Or do you any of you guys know what might be causing this?

Also my display driver keeps constantly crashing and recovering

I don't mean to trivialize this issue, but those are some damn cool glitches.

I can't really help, though. I'm not much of a hardware man :(

Looks like the Gilbert Gottfried virus. OS reinstall is your only hope.

Seriously though, have you gone into device manager and updated the driver? Maybe the file was corrupted..

Have you confirmed the card is sitting securely in the slot?

AstronautClock

you might be missing some codecs but yeah maybe its time to buy something new

OvenmittClock

welp, I completely deleted everything related to AMD and ATI and then reinstalled the drivers, lets see if it helped at all. Also, even though i don't think missing codecs can quite do this, I still uninstalled and reinstalled all my codecs as well.

Yeah, codecs will only affect vid playback.. you have either hardware failure or a corrupt driver..

OvenmittClock

Well I'm probably going to jinx it, but since I reinstalled the drivers it hasn't crashed at all yet, and no faggy artefacts in firefox either.

Well if its just the video card, then you can at least replace it before it fucks your shit up.

OvenmittClock

The strange thing is though that my computer never crashes when I'm actually playing something.

are the drivers currently installed ones that recently came out? If so, try rolling back to a previous update, which might not recreate these issues. Furthermore, try opening the case, remove the graphics card and look for any visible signs of wear, then clean the slot and the contacts with compressed air, and reseat.
