collab ideas

so while thinking of new collab ideas for the clock crew to participate in i came up with 2 and i would like your input.

one was the clock crew ABCs. everyone would take a letter and do like A is for..., B is for..., etc. idk if each letter would be for a specific clock or some other word or w/e you wanna do

second was whats in the box. someone who is good at art and animation (not me) would do a short animation of a clock opening a box (think suitcase from pulp fiction) and then everyone who wants to puts their clock in its place and puts something in the box and then makes a short scene for what happens after box is open/item revealed.

comments? concerns??? ideas??????

Well I did have this idea for a collab where we take the "I'm bulletproof, nothing to lose. Fire away, fire away." part from the song titanium and make parts on a clock being invinsible and getting rid of another clock.

im picturing some sort of indiana jones type scenario where a clock (lets use wii as an example) finds a treasure chest. he opens it up and a golden glow radiates from the box onto his face. then it cuts to whats in the box (lets say its diet pills). wii reacts accordingly and then stuff happens.

so for everybodys part i picture the opening part being the same, the box and the glow, but participants can edit whatever happens after or even before accordingly

I was making a Flash that is an advent calendar. The first day you could play a tiny little game, on Dec 2nd a movie unlocked, on Dec 3rd another tiny game unlocked. The idea was to just keep getting views for the same Flash all month. ANYWAY we could do something like that, but instead of a collab, make separate Flashes and submit one per day. Maybe give it a fancy preloader so we know which ones are kosher.

Yea no rush. Doesn't appear to me as if the one collab is making any real progress. Not sure what kind of Clockmas participation we're looking at after a lackluster Clocktober

Patriot.. B-Tween hit a hiccup because there is not deadlines imposed for parts. Lotus really needs to put stricter controls on the project. Of course, Lotus is not known for meeting deadlines lmao.

As for Clockmas, we've discussed this in the Grid... now we need to get all the thoughts collected and organized. Most people get into the holiday spirit once December hits.. so we really need to push our team this week.

Bumping this thread to share my collab idea.

So the collab is called Clockcrew TV. It's like the holiday spectacular but it doesn't have to do with christmas. It has to be funny, so think of something, like poop jokes! The styles must be neither bitmap's or classic clocks.

I was thinking of making a music collab. We take our favorite songs (like from before or now) and we animate them. Tropicana told me that each part should be at least 30 seconds or so but i wanted it 1 minute and 5 seconds or so. So it's like basically taking your favorite song and making a music video for it by yourself (or in case a clock helps you.)\

So what do ya think?
