The Clock Crew Holiday Spectacular!

Bob Hope, Andy Williams. Chewbacca. For years, Christmas variety shows were a staple of holiday television programming.

We invite you to join The Clock Crew Holiday Spectacular collab. We will recreate one of those classic specials complete with comedy skits, musical numbers, Texaco commercials and yuletide heartfelt mush.

All are encouraged to make a part. Ideally between 30 and 90 seconds but hey, it's Clockmas. Go chestnuts.


The main entry will be an old tyme console TV with the submitted parts playing on the tube. An intro featuring the classic clocks sitting down to watch the show with cups of cocoa. To help segue between skits, the movie may pan back to them. (MST3K style?)

Aspect ratio 4:3. Meaning your stage dimensions should be 400x300, 600x450, 800x600, etc. You have the freedom to work in a size you are comfortable with. It will be resized to fit!

30 FPS because it looks nice.

Any version of Flash is acceptable.

As always, rename all your symbols, ctrl+b your text and if you want to be a real Santa's Little Helper, embed your entry in a movie clip.

12/23 deadline. Seeing as there are two other events in the pipeline for December, we're giving as much time as possible. This allows 24 hrs for compilation.
