Also this console makes me sad as a gamer, always liked the Xbox consoles but they seem to go the Wii route of fucking their core consumers and whoring out for the bigger market.

Just FYI guys, there are rumors that PS4 is going to have similar or WORSE second hand game control.

Keeping it in perspective though, both the xbone and ps4 have more freedom to resell games than the current PC market...


EDIT: Apparently Microsoft has stated that they would willingly give any requested information to the federal government if requested. I hope you guys like getting spied on by the feds. If you decide to hit a bong while playing Gears of War you're going to the federal ass-rape dungeon.

I just realized that in the last year I pretty much only used my Xbox for Netflix so now I'm even less disappointed with new Xbox than I previously was.

You're paying for both netflix and xbox live. If you used a ps3, PC or wii you wouldn't have to pay any additional fees to use Netflix.

I have those things and use Netflix on two of them (not wii). Xbox live allows me to form parties and synch what I'm watching with other people to my knowledge I can't do that with pc and like no one has ps3 my friends list consists of like abs and juan

I've also read rumors that Sony is reconsidering their stance about used games after seeing the universal backlash that Microsoft is having from their decisions for the Xbox One. Remember Sony isn't exactly doing well at all, they can't afford to have another super slow start like the PS3 did. They would do anything to keep afloat right now.

Also you can still sell old and new boxed copies of PC games used. Just because Steam and other online game platforms sell only digitally doesn't mean that used PC games don't exist. The PC isn't strictly steam, it's an open platform and has much more freedom than the consoles. Ever more now that the Xbone wants to stick it in your pooper.

It's funny how people are calling it the "xbone" now, the reveal spent like 20 minutes talking about the cowadoodies amazing dog technology, and the japanese onomatopoeia of a dog bark is "wan", so to japanese people it sounds like the console is the "xbox woof"
