If there is one think I know it's clinical depression. It's a great motivator to keep you in a shitty job as a worker drone. I made decent money for years right out of high school working at a rug mill that gave good money and didn't require a diploma. Having a hard time finding work and having a hard time finding only work you want to do are two different things.

I don't really have an opinion on the matter since I wasn't around for it to happen, but theft is theft. It was dumb of him to take the money and run off four over five years and it was dumb of the CC to let him keep it all in the first place with all the hard times he kept talking about constantly.

Still, if you can't save up a measly $1k in five years, you got worst problems than worrying about a forum's opinion of you on the internet.

This is before my time but looking at the obvious here. If you were to say sell something on eBay, and it never made it to the buyer. eBay would take it back as a refund if disputed but only the money the person had paid you beforehand. So lets say you DID sell something and it was lost, paypal would've only taken back the money said buyer paid, not everything in your account. UNLESS of course you had already spent that money.

that's the best opinion on the subject that i have seen in this thread. he maybe had already spent all that money, beforehand, so it must be hard to get them back. again, a debt is a debt, it would be good to re-build the trust in the cc, and to pay(the debt) slowly back.
