Now, one last thing.. is there ANY way someone could convert the two Avatar Library files I posted last year to Flash MX 2004? Then I could easily get back in the groove of making these movies! B)

With a 93% accuracy score, here it is.
File 1: http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/e98956daeb4efb9648d4d377eb1d36ed

File 2: http://www.newgrounds.com/dump/item/3241c202e0cc2576c5a8a85e36c4eb73

Note: The transit phase system I use is very outdated. There may be errors in directional gradient conversions. These can be manually repaired. Some movement AS2 was not copied. Some fonts were not copied.

I remember you doing this earlier with some goofy program and it not even being sort of close. I wish we still had the people who just had every version of Flash :T Using CS3 to convert to 8, then 8 to translate it to MX 2003 would give a perfect conversion

Or I could drop a link to CS4 here.

Like that.

I estimate that adobe will release a public key for it in 2-3 years. Since its abandonware and all...

PhantomCatClock

Durian deserves better than CS4 but I'm too lazy to find Flash 8

I'd never tell you to download Flash 8 Portableâ,,¢ at your nearest google because it is of dubious legality (and it opens really slowly compared to the installed version)

"You could start, by acquiring Flash CS4. Key in the correct activation code from the googuru slab, and you might find the way to flash lit by the keyframes. Or, you could spin the lottery, and go with flash 8.  Seek out the correct activation code, and push it in the right tongue - which will reveal the path to retro-futuristic goodness. Or, if you're feeling hardcore like Young Tom Fulp, you could challenge the most extreme difficulty by downloading Flash 5 and a path might open to the shrine of extreme hardcoreness and bossiness!"
