Thanks for the daily mascot update. Never mind 7up is kinda gross and makes your mouth all slimy... just look at this funny dude and buy it.

Apparently the women who came up with Mary Lou Retton also made Angela Anaconda and Mary Lou Retton. I remember watching Angela Anaconda as a kid, which doesn't line up all that well chronologically. It ran from 1999 tot 2002. I turned twelve in '99 and went to high school in the fall. Did I still watch children's cartoons then? Apparently.

'99 is also the year Dutch TV started airing South Park late at night. I had never heard of it myself, but my mom taped it and showed it to me. Pretty fucking cool.

Angela Anaconda was possibly the worst time slot filler Teletoon ever aired. Everyone on the show is grating, the animation style is blanketly abhorrent to the eyes- i dont remember ever enjoying a single second of it.
