man i can't believe we got a truckload of mario stuff today

pop-tart

Fun fact. When I added this emoji years ago, it was named 'bump' due to the occasional need to bring a thread that required attention back into users' "new posts" feed.

You know, because the song goes, "Just for a minute let's all do the bump.. " :bump: :bump: :bump:

It dawned on me today that we don't have a "hammertime" emoji. And I really think a "hammertime" emoji is growing in need. I log on to the forum, and more and more I'm thinking, "man, maybe it's hammertime."

PhantomCatClock

I figured it was because he was too young to know what bumping a thread is because he obviously knew what it was from

you corrupt politician, sneaking an unrelated law into your major mario bill

I am curious about that 3D All-Stars, though. The Western release of Mario 64 had additional voices and bugfixes, but then later on they made another release in Japan that had even MORE bugfixes (and a handful of features. Minor stuff, not actual gameplay)

Curious if it's gonna be the Western release or the second Japanese release, translated.

The omission of so long gay bowser makes me lean towards the japanese one, shindou I think they called it? In that version he just says bye bye or something since he's not bowser there. But who cares we got source code ports with 60fps and widescreen now WOOOOH LEAKS. Apparently we just got starfox 64's source code, same source as the previous leaks, vr cockpit mode with flightstick control when?

PhantomCatClock

I mean, the full Direct shows these are modified to be widescreen but yeah, good point

64 is 4:3 for some reason

the direct was so underwhelming, it was all kind of cool as i was watching it but i thought there'd be like a big new game at the end, either a reignited/nsane trilogy style remake of 64/sunshine/galaxy/galaxy2 or odyssey 2. but there was nothing

theres no new games and its just ports of old games

i already own most of these

godammit

what the fuck

why cant nintendo make a game anymore

PhantomCatClock

k-9 pasting the same nintendo post into the discord for the last year has finally bled over into the forums

Mario Odyssey came out in 2017

Mario Galaxy came out in 2007

Perhaps Nintendo takes their time when it comes to world renowned mainline game series

PhantomCatClock

I already had the uglier versions of Mario 1, fake2, and 3, but I still got Mario All-Stars because I was not a weenie

PhantomCatClock

but not the cool one with Mario World because I was a loser

they had galaxy 2 3d land and 3d world between those tho

odyssey 2 was a pretty big wish but i didnt think an actual remake rather than a limited run full price hd upscale was that much to ask for

PhantomCatClock

galaxy 2 maybe should've been in 3D All-Stars but these are the "open world™" old games, not the mainline ones what with flagpoles at the end.

I think there were a couple of different stars you could get in each Galaxy level, but it's been a long time since I played that game so I don't know for sure.
