I don't know I have never played FEAR, but I was pretty impressed with Nightmare house since it was an indie game.

Tried playing it but the intro was long ugly and boring, and after playing for 2 minutes I got a huge FPS drop which shouldn't happen on my hardware. I said fuck it and stopped playing.

My sister made me get it. Its actually decent, the demo chose the only bad level in the game oddly. I really like the roller coaster act right after where the demo leaves off. In multiplayer you tend to go too fast and get seperated though, it can be irritating and lead to cheap deaths. The episode metal thing wasnt anything special, he doesnt play any different from sonic and there's no bosses. And the bastards had to tease me with an opening screen for Stardust Speedway and not let me even play it >:[

As a whole, enjoyable but not worth 1200 points.

DLed Journey over the weekend. Pretty amazing game. Really innovative use of multiplayer... they don't force you to do it but if you come across someone else they're usually helpful. They did a great job of making people unable to ruin the mood by being a dick in any way. I'd recommend it, and also Flower by the same company. They have similar themes and presentation styles, both of which are really effective ways of telling a story and show how powerful the medium is.

Slender- tried playing it a bit, but the lack of direction and use of wide, open areas makes this more uncomfortable to play than Amnesia; At least in that game I had a substantial goal to focus on.
Krater- Really cool squad RTS-style ARPG. Extremely fun, and very challenging.
MicroVolts- F2P TF2 style of FPS, but 3rd person perspective. Pretty fun, but nothing special really.
