pro evolution 2008: 7.5/10 It's still bare bones,  and the gameplay has actually taken a slight turn for the worst.

Call of Duty 4: 9.7/10 A bit easy since i [mastered] call of duty 2, but people are starting to get better lawl. Super in every way, i even loved the single player despite the critics getting at its length and lack of proper story. The ending (+extra ending) was so well done, great presentation.

About a year ago, I rented this game and played around with it for about a week, yet never really scratched the surface of it. Last month, I finally bought the game, this time getting it for the ps2. I dreaded the load times, but to my pleasure found they were still pretty close to nonexistant, other than the intro load, which is more than tolerable. I then got into the game, and started, immediately being thrown into the shoes of the protagonist, Carl Johnson. I started playing through the missions, learning more about Carl, and the stuff he went through. When they tell you the game is huge, they aren't lying. The map takes about 2 hours to go around, and the game is good at maintaining a fun level of difficulty. There were times I wanted to smash my controller against the wall (I beat the mission, had to land the plane, and i tapped a shrub and blew up.) but some missions were fantastic (blowing up a plane then jumping out falling hundreds of feet down. The car mechanics are fantastic, and the planes are too (however it takes so much getting used to). Near the end of the game, you feel like you have completely connected with  Carl, feeling as you are him. Then as the final credits roll, you feel like you accomplished something HUGE. Even after beating the game, the plethora of  easter eggs and tricks inside the game are enough to keep you occupied for  weeks to go on afterwards. And of course, who doesn't like chainsawing a grandma?

Zack and Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure. A return of the point-and-click adventure brain-bender genre, in fine form, dressed up with a most entertaining and bubbly pirate theme. Go buy it and support this ailing but essential aspect of gaming.
