I've only had a decent gaming PC for a year or two now so I'm visiting all sorts of games that have existed for a long time and I'm just finding out about them.

A few weeks ago I finished a months long period of playing nothing but Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 3. Damn those games are awesome.
Last week I finished Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood and then borrowed my mate's copy of the first one but the controls on the controller are all messed up and I really don't feel like playing with keyboard and mouse... I really enjoyed Brotherhood but I get the idea the older games are just more of the same and less well put together so I think I'll pass up on those.

Gotten back into Zeus & Poseidon though, some ancient city building game I install every 2 to 3 years and just play to death, then forget about it for a couple of years again. It's a terribly addictive game, especially once you get a good grasp on how the mechanics work and you can build ridiculously efficient cities.

It has a severe case of consolitis though. No graphics setting, shitty controls obviously designed for a console, capped at 30 FPS. It's also too short.

tbh the Uplay thing sucks more than anything they did to the game. The FPS cap sucks but it ran fine for me, it was fun while it lasted, and it didn't explode in my face or anything. Plus, Ubisoft pretty much said that if the game doesn't run properly and you're unhappy you can even get a refund by whining at their support staff enough - http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/9751064939/m/5561081249?r=7411003249#7411003249

Bought Siren 2 for a trip down memory lane.

Bought Portal 2 and played the damned Hell out of it with Adrenaline over PSN. A good time was had by all.

It's a bad game but I think it's worth the $15 since I'll probably use it in the future to dick around and make penis islands or something in the sandbox mode

And it's got a nice old-school Metroid feeling to it, there plenty of places to explore and upgrades to let you explore even more. It's a little bit short and the final boss battle ROCKETS up in difficultly, but overall I had a blast playing it.
