huh. i didn't really think it was the same accent. just sounded like he was Australianizing his vowels. but maybe he was trying to make a point by doing the same kind of thing that the game did.

It might be like how Australian sounds a little like a British accent. Alternatively, it might be like how some think that a Boston accent is exactly like a New York accent.
(Meaning)Maybe "bad Australian" is what South African sounds like, or maybe it just sounds like that to idiots.

haha maybe i'm an idiot then, but i am australian though so anything sounding similar to my own accent i guess i'd pick up on.
