Clock Crew Show and Tell

What?
For Clock Crew Show and Tell you must create a 5-10 minute presentation on something you consider yourself an expert (or at least more capable of explaining than the average Joe on the street). Alternatively, you can choose a topic you find interesting and then research it so that you know enough about it to enlighten us.

I dunno what to do!!!
Examples for topics include:

• Basics of Frame by Frame Animation
• Demystify some scientific phenomenon...
• My Grandfather was a HERO!!
• Basics of Photography, appreciating a particular photographer or artist's work
• Talk about some obscure talent you have
• How to make something
• Explain some historical phenomenon or event
• Talk about some series of books or films or something else that you like
• Biography of a band or person you admire... etc.

Basically, anything that you find interesting. It can be a serious topic, or you can make a joke movie.

Hot tips

• Have fun making your entry and we will probably have fun watching it.

• Don't state the obvious too much or we'll get bored.

•  Try to help us understand why you find this topic so interesting.

• Follow a definite and logical path from start to finish if you are explaining something detailed and complex. Repeat certain points when necessary, so as not to lose your audience.

Flash or Video
You can do it as a video or as a flash animation.

What if mine is really good?
The best 5 will get gold stars, the next best five will get red stars, and anyone else will get a black mark.

Deadline
March 1st, St. David's Day Satuday March 8th. You should have submitted your piece to NG or Youtube (or similar) by then. You can post your entry in this thread, and in the general discussion forum as soon as it's online.

If you are not interesting in things then this may be a challenge but I think the assignment here is basically to do what everybody already does: make a flash or video based on what interests you.

If it's a flash animation then I will accept something under 5 minutes, but if it's a video, surely there's something you can talk about for more than a couple of minutes.
