Reformatting your comp is a bad idea.

I spent so much time looking up a cure and shit on my laptop that in the end it took less time to reformat to Windows and install all my programs.

I mean I tried and tried looking for a cure but all the time spent looking was probably less than the time it took to actually reformat, install all my drivers, install my programs and stuff, etc...

The second time it happened I realized what it was and after restarting once or twice I knew I had to reformat.

Reformats in the end are always nice. Your computer runs faster, whatever viruses you had (minor or major) are gone, plus you get to not-install all the useless shit you had lying about on your old computer.

If I ever lost all of my flash and photoshop files, well, I'd just be really upset. All the time spent on them put together = a lot of fucking time :(

I never leave important shit on my computer without backing it up. I rarely have important shit to begin with, but when I do I back it up on email or flash disk or even iPod.

My flash file before my reformat a month ago (virus just killed my computer) was in the 100 gig range. It was sad to see all that scrapped work go.
