Why do I need 500 GB?  I dunno, all my stuff is only 20 GB, but my dad ordered it anyway and said I could use it for life and I won't have to keep my shit on our computer and slow it down.
Which is awesome.  I'm not complaining at all.  Now I can store all my music, Flash, and other things *ahem* on the hard drive and have it all to myself.
I'm relatively excited.
Now I just gotta order those Scott Pilgrim comics and I'm set for the next 6 months.
And get GTA IV when it comes out and a PS3, but I digress.
I now have a huge thingy to store my stuff in which is neato keen.

I have 19 GB, including some music, but that's not everything, so I'd say overall I have about 30 GB of stuff altogether.
Not counting games, but those can stay on the computer because.
Still, I'm kinda excited about actually having all my stuff in a somewhat secure place.

Flux's hard drives(One 70gig and one 320gig):

45 gigs of movies
18 gigs of music
29 gigs of TV shows
63 gigs make up the rest of my used space (programs, FLAs, games, etc.)

The movies and music are on the 70gig slave, everything else is on the 320gig master.

one of my 500 gb harddrives is giving me an error message when i boot, but everything seems to work fine..

I've used up almost all memory on this laptop but I'm getting a new kickass gaming desktop that my brother used. I'm sure most of my shit'll fit on there.

Though I've been waiting on this desktop forever it's getting annoying >:
hej.

Quote from: CadillacClock;1260937Nice work on the 500 GB hardrive though, I really need a bigger one. I'm always forced to delete things.
It was 130 bucks, too, which is really cheap for 500GB.
And thanks :)

PimpMasterKDOG

Is it internal or external?
I had a 500 gb external that I used for torrents that broke after a year.
They're pretty easy to fill if you download a ton of shit, especially DVDrs.

External, and I don't download DVDrs and torrents and whatnot, so this might last me a while.
Unless I break it.

PS: Also, 5 hours of intense frenching ftw

I have a 500gb external HD and my new computer has a 500gb HD.

Hahaha, Jesus Christ.
Our computer had 227 GB.

ArcticSwirlClock

I need a new hard drive when I upgrade my pc as well as a new graphics card. I'm thinking a 300-500gb and an ATI made card.

I got a 500 gig HD yesterday ironically (as a part of a tower and stuff), my old computer only had 40 gigs of hd space in total and I was constantly deleting stuff off of it and I could barely have any music on it and it was really crappy. I'm celebrating by downlpurchasing Dan In Real Life in physical DVD format from my local retailer.
QuoteBob awesome

Topcatyo

I'm celebrating by watching Shoot'em Up tonight, which I have been wanting to see forever.

AlbinoClock

That's pretty cool. You won't have to worry about running out of space for a long time. I've got an 80 gb a 30gb a 20gb and a 4gb, plus a couple of 1gb usb sticks. I want terabytes. :(

Western Digital sells 1 TB external hard drives for some amount of money.  Give them a looksee.

UnrealClock

I just got back from a friends house, his hard-drive must be fucking huge, because he has a PS1 Good Set complete and full with like a couple other hundred gigs of shit on his computer, with some room to spare. I saw he had two externals, they might both be terrabytes.
