a workable video file, ie avi or wmv or mpg. Does any one know how to do that or where I can get a program that would do such a thing? Thanks.

I know iMovie can open flvs up directly. If you have the fla, you can export video from Flash.

I was trying to export it out directly from flash but that wasn't working. I have alot of MCs in this flash that play something within its own timeline. So it didn't play right when I tried to play it after exporting it out as say an avi.

Fuck it looks like the intro is messed up in that swf2avi thing. Damn, I suck.

Damn, that sucks. I wish Leek was on. Didn't he transfer that one flash that one time. It looked decent. I just tried again exporting it as an avi. But it made it 500 mb and was taking forever to load onto youtube. But I'm gonna try and load it into my video editing thing and see if i can save it as a mpg for lower file size. Also I just realized I still have those 2 video files of you and blackmagic doing the spoken word thing that we never got started cause no one else ever sent in any thing.

It works fine if you use graphics instead of movie clips. If it's not essential for some reason that they be movie clips, just do that. Not sure it works for nested clips, but graphics will show their appropriate frames on the main timeline. That's how I got the tickers to loop on The Chime and Chyme Show. Also, I recommend exporting as a mov or mpeg of some sort and converting it in iTunes.

The movie is something I made back in 2003. It was the All The Lonely People flash that me and BiologicalClock made. So there aint really much in the way of changing things around I just wanted to make a youtube version of it. It's uploaded now though so its good to go. The only thing is when SBC is writting his sermon the pencil isn't moving and the beginning its a crappy version of those old movie reels starting type thing but that just sits there for a second. Other than that it looks fine. It's still waiting to be processed right now though.
