Quote from: BrainChild;1265158You're a lie, and so is your religion.  Those Quran verses are all lies, too.  They're fictional; made up.

Is that going to get you to shut the fuck up?  Of course not.  You're a stubborn, pathetic bitch who desperately wants his voice heard.

Aren't we all, though?  None of you will ever make a fucking difference.  You type just so you can read it back to yourself.  You love the sound of your own voice.

SO DO YOU SO DO YOU
If I had some sort of device that speaks the words I type on this forum I'd most likely get annoyed by it before enjoy it. I'm inclined to believe now you've been nothing but a troll.

You're wasting your time, faggot.  Saying the same shit in greater volumes doesn't help your argument.

Quote from: BrainChild;1265163Yes, those verses are fucking lies.  They're taken completely out of context, and then translated as loosely as possible.  I could do the same thing with the bible, but I'm wise enough to argue my point without any needless propaganda.
I dare ya, take any part of the gospel and try to do that.

It's really quite pathetic that you have to resort to pruning my every post, desperately searching for a grammatical error to use against me, especially when I didn't make one.

You type to read back what you've written.

You speak to hear your own voice.

Do you speak on these forums?  No.

Yakno I knew you had found some shitty website proclaiming islam being violant.
Typical biggotry site going "BEHOLD! ALL THOSE PEOPLE ARE VILE, EVIL!"

Have you read the bible? Hmm?
Quote# Depart unto that doom which ye used to deny." 77:29
You call that violent?
Jesus christ man, the bible has equall amounts of damning texts

I frankyl can not see what you want from this topic.
You are denying research done by the worlds most renowm country for objective information (and yes, china does show their military spendings and if you do not believe it prove me wrong.)

Quote# Allah has prepared a painful doom for evil-doers. 76:31
Is that evil? What the fuck is "hell" then in every religion ever made?

Don't be so judgemental.

What the fuck did I just tell you?  I'm not going to do shit.  Anyone could change what's written on a piece of paper.

Does the bible say anything incriminating?  Sure, but it doesn't really fucking matter, considering actions speak louder than words.  Plenty of wars have been fought in the name of "God".  Why?  Because other people don't agree.

Fuck you.  Your beliefs are just as worthless as the next faggot.

I didn't say they were all violent, I said a good number of them. I'm not picking out of 513 lines only the ones dealing with what to do with non believers, or which ones include physical violence. You said I was just taking 4-16 scriptures our of context, and I produced hundreds to prove a point. I can always post more, there really are a lot. Why do you keep comparing shit to Christianity? The bible should never have even come up in this conversation and you're missing the point completely. We can make a "Christianity Teaches Violence" thread if you want.

No see that is what I am pointing at and what I have already said;

Yes, Islam says alot about violance: BUT so does Christianty/Jews do aswell.

Islam contains ALOT of violant scrips but all old religions do (except buddishm which fucking nailed the definition of a "good" religion.)

There is no reason for this world hype of islamofobi

If everyone is going to harp on Christianity and Judaism, fine, fuck it.

I'd like to see your sources on violence in Christianity and Judaism texts preaching the same or even a 1/4 of the violence the Qur'an does. While the Old and New Testaments portray a lot of violence, it rarely if ever says follow suit.

Bible  Quotes for January  16

Murder, rape and pillage of the Midianites

"They attacked Midian just as the LORD had commanded Moses, and they killed all the men. All five of the Midianite kings - Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba - died in the battle. They also killed Balaam son of Beor with the sword. Then the Israelite army captured the Midianite women and children and seized their cattle and flocks and all their wealth as plunder. They burned all the towns and villages where the Midianites had lived. After they had gathered the plunder and captives, both people and animals, they brought them all to Moses and Eleazar the priest, and to the whole community of Israel, which was camped on the plains of Moab beside the Jordan River, across from Jericho."

"Moses, Eleazar the priest, and all the leaders of the people went to meet them outside the camp. But Moses was furious with all the military commanders who had returned from the battle. "Why have you let all the women live?" he demanded. "These are the very ones who followed Balaam's advice and caused the people of Israel to rebel against the LORD at Mount Peor. They are the ones who caused the plague to strike the LORD's people. Now kill all the boys and all the women who have slept with a man. Only the young girls who are virgins may live; you may keep them for yourselves."
Numbers 31:7-18 NLT

        Bible Quote for January 15

Burning of temple at Baal  (There's nothing like a good  church barbeque.)

"Then Jehu called a meeting of all the  people of the city and said to them, "Ahab hardly worshiped Baal at all compared to the way I will worship him! Summon all the prophets and worshipers of Baal, and call together all his priests. See to it that every one of them comes, for I am going to offer a great sacrifice to Baal. Any of Baal's worshipers who fail to come will be put to death." But Jehu's plan was to destroy all the worshipers of Baal. Then Jehu ordered, "Prepare a solemn assembly to worship Baal!" So they did. He sent messengers throughout all Israel summoning those who worshiped Baal. They all came and filled the temple of Baal from one end to the other. And Jehu instructed the keeper of the wardrobe, "Be sure that every worshiper of Baal wears one of these robes." So robes were given to them"

"Then Jehu went into the temple of Baal with Jehonadab son of Recab. Jehu said to the worshipers of Baal, "Make sure that only those who worship Baal are here. Don't let anyone in who worships the LORD!" So they were all inside the temple to offer sacrifices and burnt offerings. Now Jehu had surrounded the building with eighty of his men and had warned them, "If you let anyone escape, you will pay for it with your own life."

"As soon as Jehu had finished sacrificing the burnt offering,  he commanded his guards and officers, "Go in and kill all of them. Don't let a single one escape!" So they killed them all with their swords, and the guards and officers dragged their bodies outside. Then Jehu's men went into the fortress of the temple of Baal. They dragged out the sacred pillar used in the worship of Baal and destroyed it. They broke down the sacred pillar of Baal and wrecked the temple of Baal, converting it into a public toilet. That is what it is used for to this day."  2 Kings 10:18-27 NLT

 Saul’s  Kindness

Saul sent this message to  the Kenites: "Move away from where the Amalekites live or else you will die with  them.  For you were kind to the people of Israel when they came up from Egypt."   So the Kenites packed up and left.  Then Saul slaughtered the Amalekites from  Havilah all the way to Shur, east of Egypt.   (1 Samuel 15:6-7 NLT)

Genocide

During this period, Joshua  destroyed all the descendants of Anak, who lived in the hill country of Hebron,  Debir, Anab, and the entire hill country of Judah and Israel.  He killed them  all and completely destroyed their towns.  Not one was left in all the land of  Israel, though some still remained in Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod.  So Joshua  took control of the entire land, just as the LORD had instructed Moses.  He gave  it to the people of Israel as their special possession, dividing the land among  the tribes.  So the land finally had rest from war.   (Joshua 11:21-23 NLT)

        Bible  Quote for January  6

 Know God, No  Peace

So Joshua conquered the  entire region â€" the hill country, the Negev, the land of Goshen, the western  foothills, the Jordan Valley, and the mountains and lowlands of Israel.  The  Israelite territory now extended all the way from Mount Halak, which leads up to  Seir, to Baal-gad at the foot of Mount Hermon in the valley of Lebanon.  Joshua  killed all the kings of those territories, waging war for a long time to  accomplish this.  No one in this region made peace with the Israelites except  the Hivites of Gibeon. All the others were defeated.  For the LORD hardened  their hearts and caused them to fight the Israelites instead of asking for  peace.  So they were completely and mercilessly destroyed, as the LORD had  commanded Moses.   (Joshua  11:16-20 NLT)

        Bible  Quote for January  5

     Towns      Murdered

The Canaanite king of Arad, who lived in the Negev, heard  that the Israelites were approaching on the road to Atharim.  So he attacked the  Israelites and took some of them as prisoners.  Then the people of Israel made  this vow to the LORD: "If you will help us conquer these people, we will  completely destroy all their towns."  The LORD heard their request and gave them  victory over the Canaanites.  The Israelites completely destroyed them and their  towns, and the place has been called Hormah ever since.   (Numbers 21:1-3 NLT)

        Bible  Quotes for January  4

     God’s      Wrath

Weep and moan, you evil  shepherds!  Roll in the dust, you leaders of the flock!  The time of your  slaughter has arrived; you will fall and shatter like fragile pottery.  You will  find no place to hide; there will be no way to escape.  Listen to the frantic  cries of the shepherds, to the leaders of the flock shouting in despair, for the  LORD is spoiling their pastures.  Peaceful meadows will be turned into a  wasteland by the LORD's fierce anger.  He has left his den like a lion seeking  its prey, and their land will be made desolate by the sword of the enemy and the  LORD's fierce anger.   (Jeremiah  25:34-38 NLT)

        Bible  Quote for January  3

     Slaughter

In that day those the LORD  has slaughtered will fill the earth from one end to the other.  No one will  mourn for them or gather up their bodies to bury them.  They will be scattered  like dung on the ground.  (Jeremiah  25:33 NLT)

        Bible  Quote for January  2

     The Cup of Anger

Then the LORD, the God of  Israel, said to me, "Take from my hand this cup filled to the brim with my  anger, and make all the nations to whom I send you drink from it.  When they  drink from it, they will stagger, crazed by the warfare I will send against  them."   (Jeremiah 25:15-16 NLT)

        Bible  Quote for January  1

 Complete  Destruction

And now the LORD Almighty  says: Because you have not listened to me, I will gather together all the armies  of the north under King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whom I have appointed as my  deputy.  I will bring them all against this land and its people and against the  other nations near you.  I will completely destroy you and make you an object of  horror and contempt and a ruin forever.  I will take away your happy singing and  laughter.  The joyful voices of bridegrooms and brides will no longer be heard.   Your businesses will fail, and all your homes will stand silent and dark.  This  entire land will become a desolate wasteland.   (Jeremiah 25:8-11 NLT)

The Angel of Death

My angel will go before you and bring you to the  Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites; and I will  wipe them out.   (Exodus 23:23 NAB)

 Eat Shit

Each day prepare your bread as you would barley  cakes.  While all the people are watching, bake it over a fire using dried human  dung as fuel and then eat the bread.  For this is what the LORD says: Israel  will eat defiled bread in the Gentile lands, where I will banish them!"  Then I  said, "O Sovereign LORD, must I be defiled by using human dung?  For I have  never been defiled before. From the time I was a child until now I have never  eaten any animal that died of sickness or that I found dead. And I have never  eaten any of the animals that our laws forbid."  "All right," the LORD said.   "You may bake your bread with cow dung instead of human dung."    (Ezekiel 4:12-15 NLT)

 Beat Children of Mixed Marriages

About the same time I realized that some of the men  of Judah had married women from Ashdod, Ammon, and Moab.  Even worse, half their  children spoke in the language of Ashdod or some other people and could not  speak the language of Judah at all.  So I confronted them and called down curses  on them.  I beat some of them and pulled out their hair.  I made them swear  before God that they would not let their children intermarry with the pagan  people of the land.  "Wasn't this exactly what led King Solomon of Israel into  sin?"  I demanded.  "There was no king from any nation who could compare to him,  and God loved him and made him king over all Israel.  But even he was led into  sin by his foreign wives.  How could you even think of committing this sinful  deed and acting unfaithfully toward God by marrying foreign women?   (Nehemiah 13:23-27 NLT)

      Bible Quote for February 15

 Dead Babies, False Prophets

I have cried until the tears no longer come.  My  heart is broken, my spirit poured out, as I see what has happened to my people.   Little children and tiny babies are fainting and dying in the streets.  "Mama,  we want food," they cry, and then collapse in their mothers' arms. Their lives  ebb away like the life of a warrior wounded in battle.  In all the world has  there ever been such sorrow?  O daughter of Jerusalem, to what can I compare  your anguish? O virgin daughter of Zion, how can I comfort you? For your wound  is as deep as the sea. Who can heal you?  Your "prophets" have said so many  foolish things, false to the core. They did not try to hold you back from exile  by pointing out your sins.  Instead, they painted false pictures, filling you  with false hope.   (Lamentations 2:11-14 NLT)

       Bible Quote for February 14

 Mass Murder

"This is what the Lord of  hosts has to say: 'I will  punish what Amalek did to Israel when he barred his way as he was coming up from  Egypt.  Go, now, attack Amalek, and deal with him and all that he has under the  ban.  Do not spare him, but kill men and women, children and infants, oxen and  sheep, camels and asses.'"  (1 Samuel 15:2-3 NAB)

       Bible Quote for February 13

 God Approves of Incest

"Afterward Lot left Zoar because he was afraid of  the people there, and he went to live in a cave in the mountains with his two  daughters.  One day the older daughter said to her sister, "There isn't a man  anywhere in this entire area for us to marry. And our father will soon be too  old to have children.  Come, let's get him drunk with wine, and then we will  sleep with him. That way we will preserve our family line through our father."   So that night they got him drunk, and the older daughter went in and slept with  her father. He was unaware of her lying down or getting up again. The next  morning the older daughter said to her younger sister, "I slept with our father  last night. Let's get him drunk with wine again tonight, and you go in and sleep  with him. That way our family line will be preserved."  So that night they got  him drunk again, and the younger daughter went in and slept with him. As before,  he was unaware of her lying down or getting up again."

"So both of Lot's daughters became pregnant by their  father.  When the older daughter gave birth to a son, she named him Moab.  He  became the ancestor of the nation now known as the Moabites.  When the younger  daughter gave birth to a son, she named him Ben-ammi.  He became the ancestor of  the nation now known as the Ammonites."  (Genesis 19:30-38 NLT)

       Bible Quote for February 12

God Admits He Did Evil Things

[The prophet Jeremiah speaking]  "Thus says the  Lord, the God of Israel, to whom you sent me to offer your prayer: If you remain  quietly in this land I will build you up, and not tear you down; I will plant  you, not uproot you; for I regret the evil I have done you."    (Jeremiah 42:9-10 NAB)

       Bible Quote for February 11

 Peter Kills Two People

"There was also a man named Ananias  who, with his wife, Sapphira, sold some property.  He brought part of the money  to the apostles, but he claimed it was the full amount.  His wife had agreed to  this deception.  Then Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart?   You lied to the Holy Spirit, and you kept some of the money for yourself.  The  property was yours to sell or not sell, as you wished.  And after selling it,  the money was yours to give away.  How could you do a thing like this?  You  weren't lying to us but to God."  As soon as Ananias heard these words, he fell  to the floor and died.  Everyone who heard about it was terrified.  Then some  young men wrapped him in a sheet and took him out and buried him.  About three  hours later his wife came in, not knowing what had happened.  Peter asked her,  "Was this the price you and your husband received for your land?"  "Yes," she  replied, "that was the price."  And Peter said, "How could the two of you even  think of doing a thing like this â€" conspiring together to test the Spirit of the  Lord?  Just outside that door are the young men who buried your husband, and  they will carry you out, too."  Instantly, she fell to the floor and died.  When  the young men came in and saw that she was dead, they carried her out and buried  her beside her husband.  Great fear gripped the entire church and all others who  heard what had happened."    (Acts 5:1-11 NLT)

       Bible Quote for February 10

 God is Illogical

[In response to the question of why the apocalypse did  not occur during the apostles lifetimes as Jesus had predicted]  "But do not  ignore this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand  years and a thousand years like one day."     (2  Peter 3:8 NAB)

Not only is this an obvious logical fallacy, it also  ignores the fact that Jesus did not give a date that the apocalypse would  occur.  He said that it would occur during the lifetime of the apostles.   Equating a day with a thousand years does not fix Jesus' false prediction in  Luke 9:27 and many other places.

       Bible Quote for February 9

 Kill Men, Women, and Children

"Then I heard the LORD say to the other men, "Follow him  through the city and kill everyone whose forehead is not marked. Show no mercy;  have no pity! Kill them all â€" old and young, girls and women and little  children. But do not touch anyone with the mark. Begin your task right here at  the Temple." So they began by killing the seventy leaders. "Defile the Temple!"  the LORD commanded. "Fill its courtyards with the bodies of those you kill! Go!"  So they went throughout the city and did as they were told."   (Ezekiel 9:5-7 NLT)

The prophet turned and saw them, and he cursed  them in the name of the Lord. Then two shebears came out of the woods and tore  forty two of the children to pieces."  (2 Kings 2:23-24 NAB)

  Kill Your Unruly Sons

"Suppose a man has a stubborn, rebellious son who will not  obey his father or mother, even though they discipline him. In such cases, the  father and mother must take the son before the leaders of the town. They must  declare: 'This son of ours is stubborn and rebellious and refuses to obey. He is  a worthless drunkard.' Then all the men of the town must stone him to death. In  this way, you will cleanse this evil from among you, and all Israel will hear  about it and be afraid."   (Deuteronomy 21:18-21 NLT)

 Rape of Female Captives

"Suppose you go to war against your enemies and the LORD your  God hands them over to you and you take captives. And suppose you see among the  captives a mooi woman, and you are attracted to her and want to marry her.  If this happens, you may take her to your home, where she must shave her head,  cut her fingernails, and change all her clothes. Then she must remain in your  home for a full month, mourning for her father and mother. After that you may  marry her. But if you marry her and then decide you do not like her, you must  let her go free. You may not sell her or treat her as a slave, for you have  humiliated her."    (Deuteronomy 21:10-14 NLT)

 Kill Homosexuals

"If a man lies with a male as with a women, both of them shall be put to death for their abominable deed; they have forfeited their lives."
(Leviticus 20:13 NAB)

 More of Samson's Murders

[The Lord saves Sampson from standing trial for 30  murders and arson by allowing him to kill 1000 more men.]  "When he reached Lehi,  and the Philistines came shouting to meet him, the spirit of the Lord came upon  him: the ropes around his arms become as flax that is consumed by fire and the  bonds melted away from his hands.  Near him was the fresh jawbone of an ass; he  reached out, grasped it, and with it killed a thousand men."   (Judges  15:14-15 NAB)

 Punishment of Innocent Children

"You shall not carve idols for yourselves in the shape  of anything in the sky above or on the earth below or in the waters beneath the  earth; you shall not bow down before them or worship them.  For I, the Lord,  your God, am a jealous God, inflicting punishment for their father's wickedness  on the children of those who hate me, down to the third and fourth generation"       (Exodus 20:4-5 NAB)

 One of the most famous of all;

  The Prince of Peace?

(Jesus speaking)  "Do not think  that I have come to bring peace upon earth.  I have come to bring not peace  but the sword.  For I have come to set a man 'against his father, a  daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law;  and one's enemies will be those of his household'".  (Matthew 10:34-36  NAB)

and it goes on and on and yeah there are alot of texts put out of context, just as in the koran.
In the end, I think the koran has more "evil" texts, I do. It was written by a warlord and not an opressed carpenter: What do you expect?
Does that make it right for people today to kill in its name? No.
Judge a man by his actions and not by his faith, never judge a man by his faith alone.
