Leviticus details many rituals which become obsolete through further context of the bible. There are many factors, time, culture, that God considered when he commanded these things of his people. Yet we still consider it as being canonical to the bible.

If you want to make an argument about the Q'uran, dig up the context, Who said the passage, what era did it take place in. Many things in the Q'uran transcend history, and other things were meant to be left behind.
