Islam is one of the very few religions that has remained unchanged for centuries. Heresy and Blasphemy is still a crime in most of the muslim world. Muslims get pissed when their religion is insulted, rejected or even questioned because thats what religion's purpose is. Religion has always been a tool to control the masses and can be used to give (or order) people direction and invoke hate towards an enemy. Religious people in the modern day that claim all religions can get along or will admit to flaws in their own faith are half-assed.

No. I saw the film, it was most certainly tasteless and just a go at the Islamic faith. The film in question simply took shots at all Muslims in a poorly made and poorly constructed manner. The plot consist of Muslims are evil: This is why. This is why, simply being a couple notations from the Koran and pictures of riots or the dead. There really was no substantial evidence in the film to convey that Muslims are violent people.

Could he have? Well, of course. It's not hard to make a religion littered with violence look so. However, he did not. It came off as bigotry and ignorance with a one sided view. Watch the film for yourself and you'll understand.

I agree, he did a poor job on a subject that's an absolute plethora of material he could have used. Instead of showing how fucked up the religion was, he showed a bunch of ass backwards neolithic people and their use of violence in the name of the fucked up religion.

I feel like the movie is a bit tasteless.  I'm a supporter of free speech, so let him make as many movies as he wants and about whatever, but it's a terrible movie and the creator looks like a huge douche.

Most people agree we should have free speech.  The only reason i´ve seen for people speaking out against this film so far is because everyone is afraid of getting their fucking head cut off.

Free speech allows you to say whatever you want, including things people find offensive and tasteless.  You can do anything, and so can everyone else so long as it is legal.

It´s only the REAL crazy religious ones from all religions who go about bombing clinics and cutting off people´s heads.  The rest just help to enable it and scream bigotry when anyone complains about it.
