Quote from: əədɹnls;1275967I noticed they got it right in akira, which makes it the only movie besides 2001 that I know to have acknowledged that.

Serenity and the Firefly series get nearly all their science right. No sound in space. Massive explosion happens, total chaos inside the ship. Zooms out. Explosion still happening, but there's this peaceful silence. Not a sound can be heard.

Now that I think of it, this also means that cyborg limbs are going to go out of style.  In your face, Luke Arm!

You haven't seen Serenity? Go. Buy it now. Don't do anything else until you have.

AnimeClock

If I had a robot arm I would give myself 'strangers' all day long

Topcatyo

If I was missing an arm I'd go around and bleed on people and then proceed to breakdance on flattened cardboard I pulled out of my pocket.

I'm already failing the four classes I have tomorrow from lack of attendance, so I think I'm going to have to go to them

Soon they will combine this arm technology with BCI and then instead of using small muscle movement, you can actually use your brain.

QuoteEmerging from an everyday ink jet printer is the heart of a mouse. Mouse heart cells go into the ink cartridge and are then sprayed down in a heart shaped pattern layer by layer.

I beg your pardon?

GingerbreadClockkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Ugh I want to see if their limbs grow back >:|

SpinningCubeClock

So if they can regrow body parts, would it work on the brain? They said it works on the heart yes? Would it be possible to get a few body parts, make them still "alive" with a grown pumping heart so they don't rot, and eventually grow a body? Or am I I'm a edgy teen?
