So what do you guys think of what Bethesda is planning for the game? I hope they keep it almost the same. It sounded like most of it was, but it was going to have more of an action oriented combat, but I don't really know how combat will work. I heard there was also a first and third person view option and something like 300 different endings. I guess we'll just have to wait and find out.
What do you hope they add or don't add to the game? And what do you hope they kept in the new one?

well before stuff about this game started popping up i had no idea there ever was a Fallout game series. I mean this is such a big leap from the others, right? The earlier submissions into the series were like 2D and only on the PC, correct? I was never much of a PC gamer so that's why i think i never heard of it. But as it stands, this game is looking really great, with what little knowledge i possess about the series.
I read that as in Oblivion there were a large number of people but a small group of voice actors that in this it'll be reversed; as you'd guess in a post-apocayptic world there arn't that many people about but there are a lot more different voice actors. Also they said that like in Obvlivion, where you could pretty much point to anywhere on the map and within a small distance you could find something to do, they aimed to keep this the same in Fallout but they've a smaller overall area to play with.

No! I don't want a smaller area, I want more area!! And I would rather have more people and less voice actors, but hopefully it won't affect the game too much. I mean, you're supposed to be able to travel almost a whole continent!

i want to kill women and children, i want to be a drug addict, i want to pimp my spouse, i want to convince people to do all the work for me, i want to wipe out small peaceful towns, i don't want scalable enemies like in oblivion, i want to be tough as fuck and able to annihilate the weak.

i also want an engaging storyline lots of dark humor and the bloody mess trait.

I think the game play is kind of like Action/RPG stuff (since there is stats) and I don't know what they will do with actual combat. Supposedly, the game is about you going out to find your father after he leaves mysteriously and some mystery. Theres also supposed to be something like 300 different endings.

PC version is the only way to go though. Any other platform is lacking.
