Sure, Tequila.

Also I had no idea what you were talking about in your last post.

TequilaClock

Why thanks.

In Minish Cap you begin wandering around Hyrule like any other game (sorry if this isnt a solid argument since I havent fullfilled the game yet in storyline) and as you wander, Zelda gets you to check out the games in festival etc.

As I see, Zelda is exactly as in the robes Tetra has when she reveals herself in WW, just taking the theory that the Hyrule they mentioned in WW was the same one from that generation, but of course, the Zelda storyline is confusing as ballcocks.

Not  to mention it looks like it is not to make Hyrule anymore as it got sunken under the sea and the king states that it is time for something new in the ending so they begin for the search of new lands.

TLDR; I think the last Hyrule was in Minish Cap.

Marlin Clock

I never realized they looked the same. I never got Minish Cap, would you recommend it?

And I always imagined the last Hyrule would be a Zelda game where you lose in the end/do some quest to plead to the Goddesses, as to set up the events for WindWaker.

Well uhhh getting confused again Link went on a quest after OoT to look for Navi (still dont  understand why she left, hm) and in the ntro of WW it states that the hero went for a quest but never returned AND evil was rising again, so it would refer to Ganondorf breaking from the Sages as in TP... however you get to kick his butt in TP, returns in WW stabbed in the fucking head, hell yeah I loved that what suggests me being the last time Ganondorf shows up.

EDIT: OH and yeah Minish Cap looks like a cool game, I just dont remember why I stopped playing it... I think it erased and felt pissed so I didnt played again.... I should try again hm.

It never says that he never returned, it was just that the people did not get another hero to save them after Ganondorf returned. There's also an interesting theory about how there's two universes after Oot, one with Oot Link, where Majora's Mask came from, and one without, where Ganondorf was sealed by Link, who was returned to his own time and universe. Since he never pulls the Master Sword, Ganondorf never gets into the Sacred Realm or something like that.
I think TP is in the second universe, and that there's one more story to come after that, since Ganondorf ruled until the Goddesses flooded Hyrule.

Also I think Navi leaves because Link had come of age and since he wasn't even a Kokiri, didn't need him anymore.

And about Ganondorf, friend and I had a fight about if he was really dead or not, and if that was the Ganondorf from OoT and TP, which I think was.

I'll pick it up.

Ok here is a clip with the first moments in Minish and other one with Zelda in the final battle on WW, but anyway I think it is not much of surprise to see them the same type as the art direction is from the same dudes, so watching the same Zelda does not prove anything :/

Who cares really, isn't it set in legend that anytime the 'great evil arises' that a 'great hero' will arise and banish the evil once again? Therefore giving into a series of games that's figurative plot ultimately doesn't change. Well, I mean any with Ganondorf in anyway ;P

What I want is for them to make another game in the same way as Majora's Mask. As we might say TP is OoT, it'd be a great for another side story with that link.

Marlin Clock

I found it funny when he just bitchslaps Zelda out of nowhere.
Also, MC did come after WW.

They just used Bellum. It's not like they're always reshuffling the cards.

I don't think that the Ganondorf in each Zelda game is always the same guy becaused in Zelda 2: Link's Adventure Ganondorf was dead from the first game and his minions were trying to resurect him but link stops them from doing it.  Therefore, Ganondorf might not always be the same guy just like Link and Zelda usually aren't.

Ganondorf =/= Ganon

Remember Ganondorf is simply a Gerudo, the rare pimp male of every once in a hundred years to rule them all and tainted by Ganon. He is simply like Agahnim.
Ganon is a boar demon.

also he has a giant jew nose.

I shall explain the split timeline theory.

As we all know, in OOT Link travels through time in order to defeat Ganondorf (who later becomes Ganon) thus earning the title 'Hero of Time'. After doing so, Zelda sends Link back to his original time in order to have the life that was denied him. This time around, wise to the problems that occurred as a result of him opening the Sacred Realm, Link instead waits for Ganondorf to expose his treachery and he is captured and sort of brought to justice (sealed in the Twilight Realm). This goes on to the events of Majora's Mask and Twilight Princess.

Back in the timeline that Link left, Ganon is now sealed in the Sacred Realm, which has been twisted into the Dark World. From there, he eventually escapes and assaults Hyrule. As the Hero of Time's bloodline no longer exists in that timeline, the people of Hyrule are waiting for a man who no longer exists and thus are forced to put their fate in the hands of the powers that be, who decide to lock Hyrule away beneath the ocean. The Link of Windwaker is an inheritor of the garb of the Hero and the Triforce of Courage only. He has no relation to the ancient hero, which is why he does not understand Ancient Hylian. He is a reincarnation of sorts.

However, another thing to note about the MM TP continuity is that the title Hero of Time never existed, which is why in TP, the green clothing Link receives after freeing Ordonna (the first light spirit) is referred to as the 'garb of a hero chosen by the Gods'. It does not specify a title for the previous hero; indeed no mention is made of such a legend. Though it is probable that the Link who returned to the past made a name for himself in his own right as a warrior; he seemed to retain the knowledge of his future.

Minish Cap is the first game in chronological order.

Well holy shit that was amazing. I got a bit lost when they mentioned that Zelda in the Adventure of Link was the original as from her on every princess should be named Zelda, but in OoT she is clearly named Zelda. So it drove me balls.

Mangosteen Clock

All four of the Toon Link games are great.

Pin Clock

I'll be honest: while I was younger, I skipped many franchises, and Zelda was one of them. My (Sadly) Little Brother got Phantom Hourglass and let me play it, and I'm loving it. Any other good reccomendations for Zelda games to start up on?
if there were two guys on the moon and one of them killed the other with a rock that'd be pretty fucked up wouldn't it?

huh? You havent played other Zeldas? Well, of course try Ocarina of Time, freaking awesome shit, also Link's Awakening, Wind Waker and Link to the Past. Those are my must plays.

according to wikipedia

Ganondorf and Ganon are the same person, ganondorf is an immortal shape-shifting wizard, in every zelda game, it's the same ganondorf, but there are several links and several zeldas who die and resurrect often.

PoisonshroomClock

If Ganon ever died, then could it be said that Ganondorf was a sort 'reborn' Ganon? Because he takes Ganon's shape in OOT/TT when beaten up enough.
