Inspired by turn of the century stuff i've drawn these.
Oh and thanks to everyone who looked at my last art thread, <3 you guys

I'm thinking of changing my thing to a Clock name and having an avatar in this style. Thoughts?

I think they are great! Both can use a little bit of improvement, but I really like what you've got here. Keep going in that direction and see what you can come up with.

Well, more so with the second one:
the biggest thing that sticks out to me in this is the hands above the head. They are just really really bold compared to everything else. This wouldn't really be a problem if it was balanced out with objects of equal contrast. This is really the only "big" thing I would change, and even that is pretty small.

Really though, when I say it could use "a little bit" of improvement, I mean it is REALLY good, but it doesn't feel perfect. So other than that, I would have to put a lot of thought into what I would change about it. I really like your style.

I must admit you are quite correct, the hands look a little like a big bow or butterfly appearing from behind which I thought detracted from the whole thing too.
