Me too :(  My friend spoiled the plot twist of KOTOR for me and a year later when I finally got to the plot twist it didn't surprise me because I knew.

Quote from: Marlix Wright;1306332I loved C&C2, I remember in the kremlin mission I got through because all of their forces were directed to my base so as that was being destroyed, I ran this 3 star zepplin and took out everything in its path until I destroyed the Kremlin. Has anyone ever beat the allied part of C&C 2? I keep trying but I keep dying on the Cuba mission where they have nukes.
I've beaten all the C&C games before, yes.
But yeah, the cuba mission with the nukes can be pretty hard, it's been so long since I played it though that I don't remember the specifics, when I play back through it I'll give you some tips if you still need it.

I like how there are 7 games with expansions and the most recent one is named C&C3, while the second one in the tiberium storyline wasn't actually named C&C2.

so does everybody else ever. I rewatch and replay movies and games all the time, not because i forgot what they where about, but because i like the experience.

yeah i found that weird aswell. Specially cause it doesnt refer to the engine like the Unreal Tournament games (Ut1-Ut2 (2003, 2004) - Ut3) and to some degree the Gta games.  Atleast i doubt either cc3 and generals or red alert 2 and generals  run on the same engine.

Tiberium Storyline
Command and Conquer
Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun
Command and Conquer: Renegade
Command and Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars
Tiberium (Still in Production)

Red Alert Storyline
Command and Conquer: Red Alert
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3 (Still in Production)

Generals Storyline
Command and Conquer: Generals
Command and Conquer: Generals 2 (Just started production)

It works with the red alert and generals games... but the Tiberium Storyline game names just don't make sense.

Also, all the games up until Generals used an old engine. Generals and C&C3 use newer engines, due to the fact that the old engine only supported 2D.

I think C&C3 just uses a newer version of the engine that Generals used.

PirateClock

I looked it up and apperntly the games untill Generals used some old ass engine i cant find.   Renegade used a W3D engine (the same used for Emperor: Battle for Dune), Generals and Command & Conquer 3 both used the same SAGE egine (also used in The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth)  and  apperntly Red Alert 3 is going to be the first game to use the new RNA engine, which is pretty damm cool!

Cool Stuff :hi5:

EDIT: I hope they keep the squad based infantry of C&C3 for future C&C titles.

I actually haven't played c&c3 yet, it's on my whish list since i got my new pc two months ago. I bought crysis, ut3 and fear so far which have been keeping me busy, that and gta4 ofcourse. Also stores only seem to sell the c&c sage box thing with all the fucking games ever, which im refusing to buy consdering i already own all the games ever. So im basicly waiting for one of those gold edition things that also includes the expansion.  Anywhoo i didnt know they had the squad based infantry. If it works the same as in Dawn of War then it's pretty cool.

KOTOR I was the only game I've ever played where I would have torn someone's head off for telling me the twist before I got to it.

The expansion actually isn't even released yet.

The infantry basically works the same way as LOTR: BFME2, and they did bring back the base-managing sidebar for this installation. I wouldn't know how to copare it to Dawn of War as that's one of the strategy titles I've never gotten around to buying.

Also: Here ya go. C&C3 for sale on amazon, and I'm sure it's sold on the official website as well.

I'm too much of a greedy hoarding bastard to actually buy a console, so I only play games that have emulators for windows. This limits my choice in games immensely because emulators don't go further as GBA on handhelds and no further as N64 as far as consoles go (there's a gamecube emulator but it's unrunnable on most PC's).

I'm considering buying the Nintendo DS though, and there's only one game I'd like to buy it for, Mario&Luigi: Partners in Crime.

I heard the rest of DS games are pretty lame tho.

Only someone who is a PSP fanboy or just buys gimmicky games says that most DS games suck.

See:
Metroid Prime: Hunters
Mario 64 DS
Mario Kart DS
Age of Empires: The Age of Kings
Final Fantasy 3 (Japanese version never released before, and remade)
Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
Advance Wars: Dual Strike and Days of Ruin
Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin and Dawn of Sorrow
Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword
Tony Hawk's American Sk8land

On Topic: I think I'll replay all the Age of Empires Games too, rather than just Age of Mythology.

Don't forget Dementium and The World Ends With You.

I liked red alert2 because it's the only rts game I can actually win campaign at. (albeit only the soviet part _poogle_)
But would anyone know any other rts that are relatively easy in campaign? Most ones I've played like Starcraft I always get raped.

I have to say in todays standards it's messed up. In the soviet mission you turn the Eiffel Tower into a giant Tesla coil, and you can blow up the Pentagon, White House, Smithsonian, Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the Arizona Memorial, and the twin towers.

Well RTS games in general are a struggle for those who aren't particularly good with them, look around for RTS games that have difficulties for their campaigns. LOTR: BFME 1 and 2 have difficulty settings, and the easy campaigns are pretty easy to beat.

LOTR: BFME1 was criticized for having an easy to win campaign, even in harder difficulties, in comparison to other RTS games out there. Just get your units in your army enough EXP to all be level 10, and it's not too challenging from then on.

Medieval 2: Total War gave me less of a hard time than did a bunch of other RTS games as well, even on harder difficulties, but that's because the battles are RTS while the rest of the game is TBS, so I found it much easier to prepare for any kind of battle properly.

Arctic

Destiny of an Emperor
Destiny of an Emperor II
Final Fantasy III/VI
Super Mario RPG
Strife
Half-Life
Diablo II
Starcraft
WoW (if that even counts)

And I'm sure a bunch of easy to beat games where you unlock stuff by beating it and playing it again too.  Like Army of Two or Tony Hawk.

It pissed me off and thinking about it now I think I'll punch him in the face when I first see him in school tomorrow.
He spoiled it because of an article we read on KOTOR 2, and it describes the beginning, and I thought nothing of it, but my friend talked to me about it and said "Yeah, I think so and so because the article explains the game begins blablabla" and I was like "You know I haven't finished the game yet, right?"

buttplug

Warcraft 3 campaign when I don't have access to the internet. The story isn't half bad, and some of the levels are really fun.

Slash

None, if there were any then the reason I wouldn't be playing it right now would be the fact that it would be impossible.
