According to Variety, unknown film-maker Crystal Sky Pictures inked a $200 million deal on Monday to produce five motion pictures, one of which includes a Pac-Man movie. Crystal Sky previously acquired the movie-rights to Pac-Man from Namco five years ago.
Upon hearing the news, Eurogamer took the words from my mouth: "There's no word on who's directing the Pac-Man film, or who will star in it, or when it's coming out, or how on earth anyone could think making a Pac-Man film is a good idea..."

If this were made in the 1980s, when it may have been relevant, it probably would have been about a kid playing Pac-Man, competing in a competition or something like that and could have actually been good.
