Aw jeez. Okay I changed it to a less spoilerish one. But I doubt it would ruin it, I saw the trailer before I saw the film which has that face in it, and it didn't ruin it for me.

i'll watch it after i get around to mulholland drive and feel up to a 3 and a half hour lynch movie.

lynch is the fuckin' man, i've seen eraserhead, blue velvet, wild at heart and lost highway. i guess i kinda skipped dune, i should watch it since it's got coop, or kyle maclachlan rather.

i liked when lynch tried to get laura dern an oscar by chilling in hollywood with a cow "without cows there'd be no cheese and without any cheese there'd be no inland empire" weeeiirrrddd.

Aye, me too. After about 5 minutes I realized this wasn't the kind of film that's meant to make any logical sense, so I just sat back and enjoyed the experience. The first time I saw it in the cinema (the only way to see it IMO) it went straight to my Top 3. Incredible stuff, amazing what emotions Lynch can evoke from special lighting and a cheap DV camera. It makes the whole notion of established characters and linear plotlines seem so obsolete.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I am currently in the process of watching all of David Lynch's movies (last week I watched Wild at Heart, and the week before I watched Blue Velvet). Unfortunately I haven't been able to get Elephant Man, so I'll have to skip that one.

Okay I'm sorry, I'd seen that face before I saw the movie as well, and it didn't ruin it at all, it was still fucking terrifying.

I understand that what may work for me doesn't necessarily work for everybody, but there are so many much better moments in film along with the one involving that image. Believe me, the way that that image is unexpected and yet built up so majestically by Lynch it won't matter if you've seen it before.

I just finished watching this movie. Creepiest 3 hours of my life. I love david lynch, but this was a little TOO weird (never though I'd say that about a lynch flick). Still great as usual though.
